Hey Cammy I wanna recommend something to you in regards to the point of the stag.
Point of the stag with archers tempo and swashbuckler, combined with the assassin’s cowl hood and the lightweight knife in particular is a very lethal combination. All you do is body with an arrow and then quickly throw the lightweight knife, and you get swashbuckler x5, you get invis, and you get a ton of health. Which makes your next gunfight practically impossible to lose. Even if you miss the knife wor just land a headshot, archers tempo is there to help you just simply use it as a regular bow.
It's cool, but it's not as good when using cowl. You need people to engage you when you have swash, and they won't come to you if they don't know you're there. You also can't deliberately go to enemies when you can't see them on radar. Having used similar loadouts before the invis changes, it's borderline unplayable for me, but that's just me.
@@Manstrual it’s definitely a more aggressive load out. You have to be the one aggressing. Also, if you put on rat king along side it you now have two ways of going invis, two ways of healing, and rat king can absolutely duel and hang along side with shit like unending tempest and even shotties. Rat king might be the weapon to change that load out for you. Either that or witherhoard. But I promise you once that build clicks for you, it’s potent
@@kallmekhaos8367 Cryosthesia is the better pick if you want to benefit more from Assassin's Cowl, and yes I know that you have to be more aggressive but you're just bottlenecking that 4.5 seconds of swash availability into radar guessing. It's just negative synergy now.
@@Manstrual I guess the only thing I can say is it’s not a build for you then 🤷🏽♂️ I have lots of clips showing the build shining in both aggressive and defensive plays. Especially with the rat king

I played with hynra in 6v6 about a year ago. In the first match, he wasn't using bows, and he was about the middle of the leader board while I was atop it. The next match he switched to bow/gl and dropped 50. It just unlocks a completely different level for him. It's insane.

Something I learned about the strand dungeon bow is if you combine high ground with an empowering rift while wearing sanguine alchemy you can one shot to the head as long as they don’t have an over shield. (It does about 200 dmg for a headshot)

A message from a bow main to all the people who play against bows: DONT PEEK A BOW THAT YOU JUST GOT TAGGED BY.
I know it’s tempting to ego challenge but unless you are swinging with a teammate AND the bow user is out of significant cover, you will almost certainly die before you even get your gun up.
It boggles my mind every time I crack someone’s shield and they repeek after giving me just enough time to pull back another arrow.
tyranny of heaven is a sleeper pick imo. yeah it’s a lightweight, but it can get successful warmup in the third column, along with archer’s tempo and moving target. with enhanced swashbuckler and a throwing knife, you’ll have 6.5 seconds to one tap someone with radiant. it can also roll tricorn in case damage gets nerfed, or other damage perks like collective action for behemoth titans, and adagio (which, when combined with sw, gives a 341 draw time and a 2 tap body according to d2foundry.) plus it has a sleek model, unlike other bulkier bows, and has some juiced stats for a lightweight.
I honestly didn't know that Vengeful Whisper could roll with off-hand strike and Archer's tempo, that is great information since that perk combo reminds me of Hush.
Hush is definitely my favorite bow in the game and I use it from time to time, so hopefully when I'll drop Vengeful Whisper with this roll I'll get the same satisfaction while using it
i've been using a hipfire/offhand bow v-whisper for a while now and i gotta say its the second most fun i've had using a bow (first being stag with swash and an athrys build). with offhand active it can hipfire headshot beyond scout range and if you're running oathkeepers the AE makes it a great pick for a more aggressive aerial play. highly recommend grinding for one when warlords is the weekly dungeon!

I have the Raconteur (Rack-on-tur) roll mentioned. 527 draw time and precision kills make it even faster, it's Hush on crack.
Since bows accuracy stat is essentially their hip fire accuracy (at least rn), eye of the storm on raconteur essentially is a free hipfire grip/offhand strike level boost when dueling. EOTS alone makes it my favorite bow rn, even over my max draw tempo swash point of the stag - a Mnk bow main
Hard grinding Vengeful Whisper for harmonic mods on strand hunter (plugging Hynra for all things bows)
was the gameplay on controller? bearly saw and hipfire shots, you could also do the - aim in for a split sec to get the aim assist cone - on controller for easier shots at close to medium ranges

Successful warmup only works if you get the kill. If you are quick swapping it is useless.

Oathkeepers to hold the charge or any other exotic really
Kinetic Hand-Cannon with Quick-Draw / Snapshot (Ex: Rose or Steady Hand)
Gameplay loop: arrow to the head, swap to hand-cannon, nail any part of the weaken enemy => profit

I haven’t gotten a single decent roll of point of the stag after focusing 50+ of these things. How tf do these IB weapons have such small perk pools but every drop is garbage?
took me 200ish to get my god roll stag, just keep grinding.
I’ve spent almost 500 engrams so far on the bow alone and I have a 4.5/5 with 2.7k kills so far. It’s only missing compact arrow shaft.
Gonna keep going for the 5/5 because after a while, you can start telling the difference in the reload times.

thats dtg for ya. got downvoted once for saying that current day solar warlock is stronger than any 2.0 tree. all i heard was “but bottom tree is gone and i liked using it” even though i’m willing to bet they used it once, and then stuck with middle tree

He went over it. Easy to get, but it has like 12 perks in column 3\4 so good luck getting a good roll.
A tip if you are going to use bows. The insults are almost 100% guaranteed so they get used to the fact that they are going to be insulted. And another thing if the enemy team changes to a bow but that is an exotic and you keep it finding and killing feel proud because you know that you have a legendary bow and not an exotic.
The insults are 100% warranted. Bows have needed a nerf for a very long time.
Ele cap on point of stag makes it aiming in the air on hunter disgusting, on mnk especially. Frees up an exotic slot (from oathkeeper) for any type of play. Ele cap and swash even at high level play is disgusting with how much freedom it gives for movement: you can headshot strandmelee to instantly get x5 swash for one tap headshot on any resilience.
As a bow main, I can only recommend Accuracy, Handling, draw time (only in some situations) and Reload speed, everything else on a bow doesn’t really matter too much. Stability doesn’t matter because the flinch in bows doesn’t exist. Aim assist doesn’t matter because it’s NOT HIT SCAN AT FULL DRAW. Very big misconception about bows. If it was then range finder wouldn’t make its projectile speed faster (which it does). Still looking for a bow that has vorpal and swash in 2 columns to 2 tap supers.
You can two tap most supers with 5x swash or AD. I think the only two that pose a significant. Issue are high resil strand and stasis titans.
Is the Point of the stag bow with elemental capacitor on solar subclass for reload with swash and 88 accuracy ideal to keep? The draw time is also 648 max...
God I hate bows.
