if there is anyone who i think is capable of a pivot to variety content, its you. the other vids have been bangers imo and if people havent watched them, they should at least try them out. your style is completely adaptable with pretty much any game and i hope you see more success outside of this franchise.

Thanks bro ❤️ It’s definitely tough editing for new games, as I’ve picked up a lot of video making tricks specific to Destiny 2, but some games have great resources for the type of stuff I do. Halo infinite was great in that regard.

Remnant 2 on higher difficulty with Outlander, your brother, wife or any other friends? Would be hilarious too. It's also a really enjoyable game, one of the best recently. You could edit it down to the boss fights, puzzles etc.@@SirDimetrious
I think you underestimate the fact that people aren’t here for your content. That’s just a byproduct of enjoying the same game as most others. People come to see you. Hear your takes. Goof off in the comments. And enjoy the atmosphere you’ve created.

As someone who used to edit videos a lot, here's my advice if you wish to hear it. Edit videos, and make videos on games you think you will enjoy editing and playing, I understand you rely on views for revenue but constantly editing the same game will burn you out fast. I personally love your editing style and I think that's your identity, your identity is your editing style, not what game you play. I love your csgo videos purely because of how you edit, it's unique. I love your channel and videos! Play and edit games you want, not what you think the viewers will like.

You’ve been one of my favorite TH-camrs since you came back to Destiny in 2020. Your videos are always hilarious, and you’ve gotten so elite at editing it inspires me to get back into my creative bag.
As a fan, I’m looking forward to checking whatever new game you decide to play for content. A lot of us D2 players are looking for other games to play so imo nows a great time for variety content.

Bro, you are the content creator I have the most respect for out of all (not only destiny related) cause you still edit on your own even though it takes a lot of time and you can hire someone to do it like most TH-camrs do, and the editing is fire too. I can only imagine how much time and effort every other frame of your video takes so I don't feel like I have a right to tell or advice you how to spend this time and what activity dedicate it too, but I still miss your Trials videos tbh

Love your videos and your editing style. Doesn't matter what game or mode you play it's always enjoyable. If you stop having fun the videos stop becoming as fun to watch so I'm happy to see some variety in the content.
I fully support you making variety content. I completely understand that d2 can feel stale at times and that there isn’t much content that is worth watching. Your style of editing definitely will transfer well into different games. Cant wait to see what you play ❤️

I think it would be really interesting to see you run 3's with not only other content creators, but more specifically smaller ones. Playing with less grown creators or lesser known ones would grow both communities. That comes with a bit of risk and reward, but this is just a suggestion at the end of the day

Algorithm chasing has led to so many of my go to creators burning out, becoming depressed and generally just not knowing what to do. This might be bad advice coming from someone the algorithm hates a whole lot, but stick with what makes you happy. It's hard to figure out what people want because most of the time they don't even know what they want until you make it. And if you had fun making it, it'll come through. When all the other Destiny creators were clickbating, you were just over here just having a good time. It's what made me click on more of your videos. DEFINITELY not because you were playing Destiny.

Realistically I couldn’t care less if Sir D made a video only about Cats, it’s the video edits and overall flow of his vids that got me to sub. Destiny content was just icing on the cake….🎂

Hey I've been loving the variety content lately so i just wanna say do what makes you happy, cause we love the emotions in the video and it makes us enjoy the videos more. Happy you wanted to tell us, happy you're being better.
Regarding how you mentioned that it’s seemingly much harder to make pvp videos nowadays with off meta loadouts you can thank skill based matchmaking for that as seemingly every PvP game has it now in every mode. I often fight teams of randoms with better positioning, movement, and team shotting in control than most players I go against in trials.
Sbmm is irrelevant it's the broken abilities and specials every game.
We went from shotguns being broken to them being THE ONLY balanced special.

We've had far worse metas than this one, but you could actually goof off/have fun after work during those metas.
SBMM isn't the problem. The problem is the lack of overall population and a lack of game modes.
There's no social aspect of Destiny's Crucible or even Gambit.
I noticed this issue compared to the MCC. I had been playing stuff like Firefight and other social game modes(BTB/Forge Maps..Destiny needs a Forge Map system..Infinite Forest anyone?)
Even if you removed perks from the equation,it's the lack of fun social modes is what's hurting Destiny more than SBMM ever could. All you're seeing is the lack of population(And Xim/Cronus clowns) hurting the game more.

@@NikolaiMihailov1 If the Crucible could easily make up 40-60% of the population during its terrible eras, then there's definitely defining moments and systems we can pick out that lead us here. SBMM and AE are what single-handedly demolished the Crucible. Adding more party modes (which have been widely panned by the Crucible players still playing) isn't suddenly going to fix core MM problems AND design issues designed to screw over good players.
And adding map tools might revitalize the dwindling playerbase, but even the game series that prioritized/built the Forge idea is struggling to retain players. Halo hasn't had a cultural impact in over a decade now.
I think one of my favorite things about SirD is that he plays just to play. He doesn’t sweat his balls off and he doesn’t try to bandwagon the meta. He just plays the game and I think it’s cool because it’s almost like he does it from an average player standpoint. His videos are always super funny and unique cuz you never know what’s gonna happen next. Keep up the work Dris!!!

Oh man I hope the Destiny content never comes to an end SirD your brand of comedy brings life to an oversaturated community of build videos, pvp carries, or gun reviews. Some of those are needed but you definitely stand out to this old guy and why I'm glad to see a new video on a game I play a lot.

Don't think as everyone is doing content like this. I've never seen any i mean "ANY" channel that makes destiny 2 videos as much fun to watch as you. The moment i found your channel i was like "I wish this guy would upload like waaay more". I did watch your best of sirD video in one sitting even tho i did watch all of them seperately. Your videos are this much fun man. There is Almost 700k people also thinking the same. Keep up the amazing work! and also some flawless runs with outlander would be fun to watch. Like everytime someone messes the flawless by dying they drink or something like that.

Your videos are always so well made, it's out of the ordinary for sure. However, considering I've been around since the year 2 montage you starred in back in Destiny 1; I'm okay with new content. Everyone is going to need a break from destiny, especially considering the season’s length.

As much as I love watching your Destiny 2 videos (my favorite highlights whenever they come out), I feel that I should follow your example, Sir D. Ever since I started playing D2, I have stopped playing several games altogether and left them unfinished. Destiny 2 became my gaming identity and I love the heck out of it, but it did limit my abilities and enjoyment as a gamer. When I try playing other games, I keep comparing them to D2 and it became a hinderance. Didn't realize it until I started playing Spider-Man Remastered and Batman Arkham.
Thank you for making this video. Gave me a lot to think about what do I want out of myself as a gamer. And props to you for taking your time and figuring out what is that you want for yourself and your channel. That's part of the gaming journey: learning more about yourself, discovering new things that weren't apparent to you before. I will be more than happy to watch you grow through your videos.

Honestly, I absolutely love all your videos where you and a couple of buddies try to complete a Grandmaster or some other hard end game content. I too only have limited time with FT job/wife/2kids/dog. There are times where I go months without playing so I know the struggle is real. My favorite parts of your video are when you capture all the "You got to be f*ckin kidding me..." moments
