Apparently it also boosts the damage of Rocket-Assisted Sidearms like Indebted Kindness and The Call, and probably that new Solar one coming next week. But what about other picks? Quicksilver Storm's rockets? Wolfpack Rounds from Ergo Sum? The Mountaintop, maybe? Got any idea if those might work?
Ive been using Quicksilver storm It doesn't seem to buff the rockets. However , for an odd reason ,this weapon fills the exodus rockets in a blink. It fills it faster than any other weapon I've picked.
It seems to be based off total damage, because six shots from Still Hunt will fully load the exodus rockets, which makes for a fairly decent but probably not entirely optimal damage rotation of: 1) build charges through regular gameplay and add killing with either primary and/or still hunt (to also charge cayde's retribution) 2) around the start of damage phase use your super when or if it's relevant 3) cast cayde's retribution, use up your charged exodus rockets, use cayde's retribution, dump mag, use primary, use bns rocket, go back to cayde's. Somebody smarter than me can probably figure out a more optimal rotation, like switching the primary to a rocket sidearm for a tiny bit of extra damage output. I've also found that even though it buffs rockets, it still pairs well with precision damage options like linear versus hefnd during warolord's ruin
I love how final shape actually brought a bunch of build-centric exotics to deal with the previous adjustments. Now, you actually have to set up with a proper class and be rewarded when you do so. This has got to be the best build crafting expansion ever, even more so than forsaken
Can confirm myself that this works, Enhanced Rockets affects overture micro-missiles Seems that anything internally classified as a “rocket” or “missile” gets buffed by this
@@Spooqi yeah, which is unfortunate, but considering the projectile fired is still a grenade is understandable. pretty sure the projectile fired has to be coded as a missile/rocket to get buffed
I’ve noticed that the chest piece gives a chance to load a rocket depending on either weapon type or a short internal cooldown. I’ve mostly used it with my fatebringer and it seemed to load a rocket with almost every headshot so it’s either based on weapon type/mag size or has a cooldown of around 1 second
I dont know if its just my placebo effect. But im 50/50 sure that this also buffs the rockets from wardcliff coil. My problem is that that thing is very volatile and numbers arent accurate as it sends a lot of random shit. However i do believe ive noticed a substancial damage incrsae when i used the combo in gambit.
It’s about a 30% damage boost when you land all 6 rockets. The new weapons, including the sidearm, can roll class regin. I rolled one with class regin and threadlings and the threadling kill will count towards getting a charge. I like using exotic rocket launchers with it.
Dam I picked the wrong one at the end of the mission....I thought I could claim both :C. Bungie is it that hard to make it clear? Why are you putting the wrong exotics on the left?!

After further testing I can confirm it works with "The Call", I am now also very curious on what other interactions it has with other weapons.
Also works with the rocket mode on Grand Overture.

peak thumbnail
It’s the same quality as speedrun thumbnails. They are all amazing
I almost always "fall in love"with anything that has perks not requiring "final blows". Feels more satisfying especially on higher difficulties
Dont forget to mention that when radiant, the rocket buff does not stack and the game prioritizes radiant over the damage buff from HP.
No it doesn't
@@bray4883 when it was 2 weeks ago it did, it is now currently patched.
I'm so ready to live out my Macross fantasies with this thing
Best comment ever!

I tested it and it seems to work with Buried Bloodline too. Forgot to test it with the weaken effect from BB though, should stack though.

I heard grand overture gets buffed from this, if that's true, it'll probably be the DPS king when it comes to short damage phases.

quicksilver nades and micro missiles get buffed too

Woah, didn't know this worked with the thrust, thanks for the numbers, can't wait to get it.
It's literally in the trailer
Wanna use this with wolfpack round protagonist sword and whirlwind + vorpal sword.

two-tailed with facet of command, so it reloads off of the suppress rocket

Do the exotic rockets gett buffed by surge mods?
Kinetic in particular
@@nappy6806 They're not weapon damage, so no.
Suprised nobody has done this with grand overture. My teams been using it to great effect. Great burst dps.

amazing passive exotic. but with still hunt i dont think its possible to outcompete hunters on dps kow
basically, 1 well warlock with cenotaph and gjally, and 5 other titans all running bns apex with this exotic 😂 will be pretty strong i think
Get Nighthawked
