Reminds me of Max Richter. Very cool!

Another great starter kit from Braintree. The degree of tempo flux is a matter of taste. Knowing how the ‘rubato’ is produced - from behind the curtain, as it were - makes it difficult to gauge the effect on ‘innocent’ ears. Even without the tempo manipulation, this a great intro to patching a other variable sweeps. As always, thank you!

This really IS helpful - the one thing I’d have added would be to actually show us the sequence you played so we could follow you along exactly. I know I can use my own sequences. So thank you for the time and effort- it really is appreciated!

Good to note. For this one, I used the chords to Truman Sleeps. And improvised an arpeggio pattern. Fm, Db, Ab, C

Here's a hot tip: Get an expression pedal, plug it into the Matriarch in the back, then use the patch point to the right nearest the pedal plug in to patch it into the Rate/DIV In patch point in the Arp/Seq section. This gives real-time control of the Arp/Seq rate without having to mess with the rate knob on the front of the panel.

@@AutisticCuriosity Make sure it has reversible polarity. I use the very inexpensive (£12 from Amazon) M-Audio one that has a switch 👍

The Moog expression pedal is excellent and it’s competitively priced.

Sharp. Appreciate the time on these videos. I bought the sound studio then matriarch without keys experience at all. It’s a mind blowing curve.

Yeah! Those are a lot to digest... Have you started experimenting with patching them together?! (To start - try running one of them through the Matriarch delay!)

@@braintree56 Working towards more of that now. Patch and tweak book very very good. might be a good time to test that with your DFAM patch.

Would be cool to control tempo with aftertouch too, though I guess that would only work with the arpeggiator and not the sequencer.
