as a producer sometimes i dont have an actual desk but i have to take care of something burocratic or just need an actual station to my workflow on set or the theater, this would be awesome to solve this

One is from Keysme (black) and the Porsche one is from the Mousepad Company.
That mat is a workhorse. I dig it, and would use it when I want to work from the couch. Another great video. I have to ask, what desk chair is that? I love the color.
Interesting concept, I can see myself using this actually.
When has Apple ever suggested that the iPad would be a good replacement for a laptop
Back in 2018 they released an ad campaign for the iPad titled “What’s a computer”. You can watch the ad here on TH-cam and you’ll see what I mean. I had a lengthy discussion about this over on Threads a few months ago.

I personally do not think apple means to replace a macbook with an ipad. It would be killing their own product. They want both to do different things, which is why I dont get why people want macos on ipad. It's redundant. Get a macbook if you want a PC.

But, but where’s a trackpad fit in? How are you using an iPad without a trackpad/ Magic Keyboard or are you not really and this was magically edited as if they are not essential?
In my workflow the trackpad is definitely not essential considering that what makes the iPad unique is the fact that it has a touch screen

Why can’t you say plastic instead of vegan leather as that’s what it is…. The actual mat looks awesome though, would love one half the size
Because if I say plastic you will automatically imagine what plastic feels like. This feels like faux leather and does not feel like plastic.

Good advertisement! It reminds me of LHiDS, doing this magnetic stuff for as long as Moft does. Lotsa accessories seem to be not only strinkingly similar, but also compatible.

Why spend that much money to use it “as an iPad” a notebook and a portable screen… an iPad or iPad Air will do that perfectly fine. Actually if you just want an iPad the best option is the actual “iPad”

iPads have had magnets in them for awhile. I think the problem with magnets is an “old” problem that had more to do with floppy disks and spinning hard drives. I remember we were always worried about that in decades past. I’m not sure about MacBooks but I know iPads have had magnets within the body of the device for several years
If you’re still working with floppy drives magnets are taboo, but these days of solid state storage it’s not an issue.

Apple does not advertise the iPad as a laptop.
They used to do it. Trying to saying there would be no computers, only IPads. But they stopped doing this for a long time I think.
