Steve’s combos are as creative as the game itself, there are limitless possibilities with this character.
One time I killed a lucina as steve by creating a cock as bait and then killing her with anvil ontop of it

I already know that we’re gonna see some impossible combos when I read “ft. Yophey”
Note: idk if this was said in the video, but be sure to avoid practicing these combos on the training mode stage! The blocks work very inconsistently when compared to real matches
Glad you noted it! For anyone curious, every combo in this video that uses iron blocks will work essentially the same with regular dirt blocks in actual matches. I did things that way to bypass the training stage inconsistencies.
@@yophey197 do the high parts of training mode stage break blocks at a regular pace? You were able to do full up smashes there
@@KadenzJade6447 they do, every level except the top 2 count as "offstage" for some reason so they break much faster, the highest two levels are exempt though. similarly, the bottom level of warioware also counts as "offstage"

Reminder that blocks break much faster anywhere in training mode stages compared to normal stages such as the middle of Battlefield.

@Tyler Howard up tilt and up air are axe, jab, nair, f-tilt and f-smash are sword, and bair and fair are pickaxe
Imagine how OP Steve would be if he didn't have to gather materials

Yophey's one of my main inspirations for getting better at my technical skills with Steve, doing NILs and all. I'm not great with things like PBR yet, but I've definitely gotten more consistent with NIL combos a lot throughout the past few months. I'm at Pro combos, but Yophey's godlike. Lmao

I love that Steve has become the Shulk of Smash Ultimate with all of his acronyms
People say Steve is not fun to fight against and thats valid but once you figure out how to play him He's the most fun DLC character
Hero is not very fun to fight either but no one complains about him.
This is amazing, but I wish more characters had tech to explore like this in Ultimate...

These are great videos, all we need is a tutorial on how to do them
Down tilt, Down Throw, into a Forward air is my favorite combo and if it’s a heavy I use 2 - 4 down tilts
the fact that it took a week to master the godlike combo, thank you Frenzy Light for showing me this
Imagine you start playing your first smash game and then your opponent does one of those godlike combos and he goes back to mining
3:56 I used to do this all the time on heavies. Tip: don't nil1 after the first uptilt in the air.

To make combos easier go to controls and turn off left joycon jump.
1. Go to controls by going into smash then to the right of the screen it should be there
2. Find the advanced controls or whatever its called in the left corner it should be blue.
3. Turn off left joycon jump.

hey Frenzy or Yophey, do you use the tilt stick or A button to do these? im trying to build good habbits here haha
Personally I use tilt stick, but if you can do these with just the a button feel free. The main notable player I can think that uses smash stick is Light, because he needs to never miss an upsmash input

My question is how you do reverse nair into fair?? Like he is switching the way he faces mid air without doing PBR it looks like. Idk but if it is PBR, that is some extremely quick inputs I don't think I'm capable of doing. Looks sick though!

How do you f tilt mid air without doing a full on fair? Kinda new to Steve, still learning to NIL block placement but would love to learn other fundamentals!
I believe he is quickly setting the stick to neutral then pressing A and moves forward again between each aerial f tilt (nair). I don't think it's possible to nair while holding forward or else you do fair.

how do u do the run dash and then u use the sword instead of the pickaxe? after i use the grab and try and run at the cpu it hits with the pickaxe
