7,200 RUPEES PER HOUR! FAST Early Rupee Farming Method in Skyward Sword HD

- Running out of rupees in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD? Here's one of the most consistent and reliable way on how to make a lot of easy rupees as soon as possible, right when you land on the surface! You can do this before the first temple of the game, Skyview Temple, in Faron Woods. You just need to get the Slingshot from the Kikwi Elder which will allow you to get the Bug Net from Beedle! No need to wait until Eldin Volcano to do the Thrill Digger Mini Game! No complex strategy needed for this solution.
Going to the area with the bird statue, Behind The Temple, holds two insects that are essential to this rupee farming method: the Woodland Rhino Beetle and the Faron Grasshopper. The Blessed Butterflies are optional. Climbing up the vines to enter the Sealed Grounds where The Imprisoned is and going back to Behind the Temple will reload the area, including the two/three bugs. Once you are satisfied with the amount, fly back to Skyloft and go to the Knight's Academy. Enter Cawlin and Strich's room and then sleep until it's nighttime. He will buy three of any bug from you every night. If you didn't get what you wanted, just sleep until nighttime again. He'll have the options available eventually. This is one of the best and easiest money making guide in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.

Tried this out for about 40 minutes and yea it's a really solid method for collecting Rupees early game, nice and chill, too.
I like to do other stuff IRL while doing this, too.
It's significantly later but it's also worth noting that Skipper's Retreat consistently spawns Sand Cicadas. They're very difficult to catch but the area consistently spawns 3, and Strich buys them for 50 each.
UNDERATED METHOD!! Austin john posted something about the thrill digger game but that method took me days of on and off playing to grind a full wallet. This took me under 15 minutes. ❤️

Yeah I followed Austin John’s Thrill Digger guide and it worked some but I lost too much so I’m trying this
Not only is this faster but also can be done earlier, no need to get to eldin & no need to cheat with the probability calculation website.
The fastest way is the bamboo mini game with button controls, and it's there very early on, probably the moment you get to free travel.
With button controls you can get 40+ slices easily, where the score you need is only 28+. All three rewards from this score sell for 100 whopping rupees to Rupin. So this is 100 rupees every 20-30 seconds.
I just tried this and you are absolutely correct! Button controls make it so much easier. I tried doing the mini game with motion controls before this bug method and I thought I’d need a better sword, but maybe I was just too slow 😅 Thank you very much for this information! Hey I've tried that and sometimes it works well and I get 31 cuts and other times even if I press the right stick down quickly the sword refuses to move and keeps going slightly down idk why and therefore I get like 5 cuts

This does work when playing the original on the Wii, but catching the grasshoppers with motion controls is a pain. Also these numbers are somewhat high as there is a good chance the grasshoppers will get away
For me he literally kept asking for the same thing. I was able to sell the grasshoppers but he never asked for the beetles and I spent 30 mins to an hour going to sleep.... Just my luck😑

Better than gambling your rupees with tubert. Even with the digger assistance chart I still lost more than I gained half the time. This was a guaranteed method. Thanks!
@Jay•BarBie Glad I could help! And I agree completely. The Thrill Digger method is literally gambling and so inconsistent, it isn't even worth it. At least with this method, the RNG isn't as bad 😆

Idk if this is needed, I found myself getting a shit ton of rupees just playing the game, I was maxed out before the skyview temple, maxed out after skyview with 2 wallet upgrades, 800 rupees pre eldin temple, maxed out after with the 500 wallet+3 upgrades, etc
I agree that this game is pretty generous with money by just playing the game. However, if you’re like me who likes to buy everything as early as possible, this is a good way to help with that :)
things in beedles shop get expensive really quick though i've been trying to farm rupees in the digger game because it costs 1k rupees for pouches and 1600 for a heart piece.
@@pforgottonsoul Yeah, for that I just waited, heart piece was easily gotten after the ancient cistern and pouches were gradually gotten, I think I got the last one prior to sandship

Best money making method for me is hero mode boss rush takes me about 10 - 15 minutes and you get 9,900 rupees which is the max amount of money

Sure, if you can't handle the first 5 Red Bokoblins the game forces you to defeat in order to progress through the story which don't even respawn at this point of the game.
@@kvnbee when i went there there was like 8 BLUE bokoblins..... wandering around, whereas if i farmed volcanic lady bug in eldin, right where the water is outside where 2 lizalfos were where you had to escort the npc, that has 0 enemies and u get 2,000 rupees in 7 min easy, so 4,000 rupees in 14 min 6,000 in 21 min and 8,000 in 30 min, which is faster than your 7,200 in one hour, so now i think, this isnt that fast as it seems, u can be faster like 16,000 rupees in ONE HOUR, granted u cant hold 16k w/o spending but still
@@nekoemiyo4711 Well, yes. The ladybug method is much faster than this when you're at that point of the game, but that is not the point of this video as stated by the title and intro. You said "at this save point" which implied the early game I was talking about, not later.

@@Refreshment01 Not sure if you found your answer already, but assuming you got the first and second ones from the Bazaar and the Sealed Temple, the next one would be right after you complete the first dungeon and are able to obtain Gratitude Crystals. Talk to Parrow walking around the plaza and he'll give you a bottle for his sister's injured Loftwing which you'll be able to keep after.
The fourth one is in a chest somewhere at the Fire Sanctuary. Don't remember exactly how to get it so I'll leave it to you find it (online).
