I can understand players not having the so-called "right" characters to clear MOC12. I can understand players not having good enough relics to clear MOC12. I can understand players disliking Aventurine's dice mechanic. What I don't understand is the complaint that the memory turbulence is being wasted on the dice rolls. Like bruh, you're given a turbulence stack counter on the enemy for a reason. Is counting to 6 very difficult? If you know that you have 4 character actions to take during the dice phase, and the stack counter is at 2, just hit the dice with 3 characters and use a support skill on an ally to avoid triggering the turbulence on the dice. It's that simple. And if you find yourself in a situation where you're entering the dice phase with the stack counter at 4 or 5, it's your own lack of planning and foresight that failed to prevent that from happening in the first place. It has nothing to do with whether the turbulence mechanic is "stupid" or not. People who are complaining about the turbulence triggering at the wrong time just legitimately have a skill issue. Or they just want a straightforward game where they can just auto-battle the hardest content and get a full clear, which is just absolutely stupid imo.

Wait until they make the Qingquebitor Qingque an MoC 12 boss, then we’ll all feel the real RNG hell.

It’s just Robin diff. 😂 I rolled E0S0 Robin and my IPC team brute forced Aventurine through 40% Img res and 20% fire res in 3 cycles.

The thing for me is, like, what are you going for in this game if you aren't going for MoC as one of your goals? Like what's the motivation to even do dailies or make your builds stronger if you aren't shooting for hard content? Maybe I just don't get pure story games. I _am_ invested in the story and lore of HSR, but playing MoC is where the game is actually feels like an RPG. To that end, Swarm Disaster and G&G used to feel like that too, before they became all-but guaranteed wins (yeah even conundrum 12). I remember thinking and strategizing for a few days straight on that one MoC with the Swarm Disaster boss when Ruan Mei came out. I saw a video where someone did it with 4*s only, and I crafted a strat with my cast, making dps Sushang work to clear that with only Lynx as the sustain. I was moderately upset with the current MoC because I've been using basically the same teams for a few MoCs now, with Kafka-Swan one side and Ratiopaz on the other side. When I crafted the perfect strat and the stars finally aligned to make it work, I was positively giddy

4:42 you're describing this like it sucks, but this is where the gameplay of the game lives; I feel like this is where most gamer gamers enjoy games

Its not about the 60 jades, its more about being able to clear said stage in less than 10 cycle. 60 jades edges 3/8 of single pull

I had fun with Aventurine in MoC, just 1 cycle with Acheron but I tested it with a lot of teams with the longest being Sushang at 7 cycles. The gamble really helped me more than I thought but it's wild how different runs with the same character changes. People do enjoy things differently though so a lot of people might have been unpleasantly surprised by the difficulty spike

F2P here, for me moc 12 is a good challenge that helps me to look at how my chars grow and new ones, but is not a priority. The root problem is when people look at others and think they are bad just for no clear even if the circumstances are very different. I remember the first month moc 7 was my best, I'm happy 11 is doable now

Since version 1.5 I have noticed that the RNG component to complete the MoC is increasing. I have commented it in public and in private and the answer has always been the same: skill Issue, improve your artifacts,... annoying. Then Aventurine comes out and the main mechanic is roll dice, fail, carry dies, restart. And people keep arguing that it's not RNG dependent. As long as people don't realize that boses design sucks, nothing is going to change. As long as success marketing continues, nothing will change. As long as the trolls and brainless people keep reciting the "skill issue mantra", nothing will change. For my part 3h of autobattle is not worth 50 jades, bragging that the automatic system has achieved 36* is not worth my time. Good video, good reflection but you have barely touched the surface. Still you have earned a sub.

Same , i also don't pull for lightcones and eidolons so i have to work with the unit that i have and luckily i have a lot of unit. Currently my only weekness is moc required fire and ice weeknesses because i don't have any good dps for moc fitting that elements

Its not that hard if you have proper time investment building your characters. End game modes are not made for people who are new and dont have built characters. Otherwise it is truly a skill issue.

I thought Aventurine and Cocolia were bad. I barely got full starts and I reset like 50 times. But then the new MoC came, and with it Gepard who is an absolutely undestructable wall, and Kafka who just takes over my units. Yeah, this one might not be worth it

Aventurine's boss animation is so incredibly hilarious in the 2x speed. Bro looks like a clown with the way his dress flutters in SPEED with the dice rolling in front of him xDD usually the slow version is just extra slow to make the 2x version kinda nice but this is so funny

For me, it's worth it. Moc12 has been a challenge for me since it came out, but somehow I'm always within reach of clearing it as long as I plan my energy investment correctly. It honestly gives me a reason to keep playing the game. I don't think I would care at all about grinding if it weren't for moc12. That being said, yes the current floor 12 is super annoying😅. I still haven't cleared it and I've been trying for a while now. It feels incredibly restricting with your options for clearing and I don't love that, and aventurine health pool is just fucking infinity

With the addition of MoC 11/12 and reduction in cycle clear time, it’s clear that MoC is focusing on giving more skilled players/more invested players something to work towards. This is a great thing, in my opinion; however, utilizing time-wasting mechanics to achieve this is lazy. Artificial difficulty on a similar level to HP inflation

New player Here(started at the start of Black swan banner), I did actually manage to 36 star this one after ALOT of attempts, but I needed to use gallagher as my sustain on this side. I found that with his attack reductions and ability to cleanse debuffs at E2, I was actually able to live and beat him. but There was still alot of attempts needed and RNG bs in his fight made it very difficult.

I'm not f2p but not a whale either, i just buy the supply pass, i started playing at 1.9 and i can clear 3 star moc consistently until stage 10, where i can 3 star or not depending on bosses. If i try stage 10 and 11 a couple times i can barely make it with 2 stars each, but moc 12.....god damn that is hard, i can barely get a star there.

Freeze mechanics is the way to kill him… because it doesn’t sap your cycles… Misha is actually perfect for this since he has very good toughness damage… the problem being very little people want to spend resources investing in Misha’s ultimate but honestly just shove the good gear you have on Misha and break him with Misha’s ultimate super break actually really helps now

eh I find MOC to be really fun due to how challenging it can be. Often times I get stuck clearing moc at like 10-14 cycles and slowly fine-tuning and fixing my team comps brings me great satisfaction to my eventual completion of the content

as a f2p im fine with only being able to get 1-2 stars in moc12. It shows me my account's power level and a reason for whales to spend money

Well, everything relies on your opportunities. If you sure, that you're able to complete MoC 10-12, then why won't you give it a try. If you feel, that you can't do it, than just give it up
