Hi, do you know the exact Lenovo product number on the antenna stick that you use in the video?
The gray wire attached to the piece of plastic w/ the double sided tape is bluetooth or (AUX). It goes in the front of the machine so when your using bluetooth headset, mouse, keyboard the antenna is on the front facing the user. Attach this gray wire to the AUX part of the chip (white arrow). The long black wire is the wifi part and travels to the screw-on plastic upright antenna in the back. This one is called the MAIN antenna because your wireless router may be in another part of the house and needs the best antenna. Attach the black wire to the MAIN part on the chip (black arrow). I just set mine up today and it's working perfectly. I bought mine from Ebay $30 and it came with everything except small screw driver.

I have a 710q with a 6400T and wanted to use a BT 5.0 capable card if possible.
Hey George, good question, perhaps I could investigate and make a video if I have time.
From factory they are usually paired with 3165NGW or 8260NGW both are below Bluetooth 5.1.
The Bluetooth 5.1 card I know is 9560NGW, but would the machine be able to make use of Bluetooth 5.1 is a mystery to me at this point.

@@GeorgeTJ pretty certain the 9260AC is the way to go, the 9560NGW needs CNVio and the M700 doesnt have that from what im aware.

Just out of curiosity, will the 8625 work on the 710q? You are showing the 8620 card. Can I use the 8625?

@@mhtechuk1769 I do have one more question please. So I decided to go with one external antenna and one internal. Do I connect the external antenna to the 'Main' of the card or to the 'Aux' of the card? And what will happen if it's the other way?

Kind of related question. I have a Lenovo M93p Mini that has a Bluetooth/Wi-Fi combo card inside. No matter what I do I have never been able to get Bluetooth to work on this machine. I presume I don’t have the correct drivers. I tried ever driver listed under this model on the Lenovo website. Any chance you have drivers that would work for my M93p? (The Wi-Fi card inside the machine works fine for connecting to Wi-Fi, but there’s no Bluetooth entry under device manager).
Hello buddy, sorry never worked with M93P, do they have standard M.2 slot?
the Intel website will have the driver since it's an Intel chip set. It could also be that the bluetooth part of the chip has gone bad and you just need a new chip for $30.

They are almost impossible to get separately, we have substitutes

Hmm those machines are too old with older WiFi card slot, not sure of workarounds unfortunately..
@@mhtechuk1769 It's a Lenovo ThinkCentre M93P Tiny PC so maybe that's not the right WiFi card that came with it but that's what was in there when I got it.
Yes I looked up. Problem is there isn't many good cards for mini PCIe.
