Very nice review! I only bought this tiny thing to project to at TV in my garage, but it’s cool to see you put it through its paces with minor gaming.
Thank you! It's definitely versatile and I am impressed with it's areas of expansion despite being so small.
How does it handle 4k movies?
@@WrappedInPlasticine It can output to 4K in 20Hz with HDMI and 60Hz with DisplayPort
@@HaisteComputerRepair thank you. I want to get a mini PC for my girlfriend and install either OpenElec or OSMC so she can connect her external drives that are filled with movies that I ripped. If it haven't 4k at 20hz over HDMI, then it'll output a solid 1080p60hz without much issue, right? Also if I got a DisplayPort to HDMI dongle, would that circumvent the HDMI 4k limitation?
@@WrappedInPlasticine An adapter theoretically will do this, yes. You will have to make sure you read the specifications and product reviews to make sure you get the right one. 4K at 20Hz may not be that bad, though. Could be worth a try. Might be better than scaling down to 1080p on a 4K TV.
will this support a lga 1151 Xeon e3-1245 v5? I know the LGA is correct, just not certain the bios will support it. The Xeon Cpu does have internal grahics but it's 530, not 630.
Hi I'm using a dell wyse5070 how do you get them gaming are they played online im probly going to get Lenovo.
Hey i got a question theres a input core and a output so does this mean i can use those headphones without bluetooth? And i can connect a keyboard with one hdmi cord to Right? And can it connect with a AOC monitor which is 22 INCH
Yes to headphone jack, USB Keyboard, and if your monitor takes HDMI and there is an HDMI port great. If there is no HDMI port and no other option from your monitor, a cable adapter could likely be used.
what version of Lenevo tiny PC provides option to add two N.2 Nvme SSds please share
Is it good for normal video editing and trading with multiple monitors setup
One more thing will the thinkcentre 910 u showed in he video work with a AOC monitor.
As long as you have the proper display cable, yes. Whether that be HDMI or DisplayPort, etc. Use of an adapter might be needed, so don't worry if there is not an exact match.
What kind of speakers would you recommend? I don't like to use headphones.
Well a nice a bluetooth speaker would work. I use some Bose companion series III speakers on my desktop workstation that would work with the M910q. They were free and sound quite nice. I also live in a townhouse connected to another owner, so I don't really use loud surround speakers or monitors.
it was really help full. because i do want to buy that mini pc for the low price and some okay gaming
Awesome good luck! send me an email at haisterepair@gmail.com if you want to see what my prices look like.
@@HaisteComputerRepair why
@@tobiasgynild219 I have some for sale. It's just one option to consider if you are looking to purchase one. No problem either way.
@@HaisteComputerRepairyou need to know that im am from denmark and i have already find a danish webshop where i want to buy it. and i don't trust you!
@@tobiasgynild219 It's all good, my apologies if that was too forward. Best of luck with your M910q.
I use one similar in 2024, for daily tasks and Adobe Autocad, Bentley 3D , it works perfect. I Buyed for 5-6 Months ago, refurbished for 230€ from Amazon in Germany.
Reasonable price! There are some cool things you can do with this PC, glad you found good use for yours.
Hi! What is it noise levels in idle and loads?
@@phoneaccount6907 Idle is near silent unless you put your ear up to it. Under load you will likely hear some fan noise. But, nothing outrageous.
Hello! Thanks for the insightful review. I'm looking into options for a relatively inexpensive client so I can play Steam games in my living room hosted on my PC in my home office, as well as maybe some streaming services like Netflix/Hulu. Do you think this would be a decent option? I appreciate any insight you might have - hardware isn't my strong suit
Streaming Netflix, no problem. Running games, you are limited as this does not have a way to install a graphics card nor does it have a "dedicated GPU" like a gaming laptop or workstation laptop. If you want something small, you are better off looking up a SFF Lenovo ThinkCentre and installing a low profile graphics card. Like many videos I have uploaded: th-cam.com/video/PTVBP0kVo98/w-d-xo.htmlsi=bqlHZuopnoamcV-M
@@HaisteComputerRepair thank you for your reply. So even if the game is running on my gaming PC and I’m just using this to play remotely via Steam Link or Moonlight, this still wouldn’t be a viable option? Just making sure I’m on the same page. Thanks again
@@tylertheadventurerSorry I misread that. I think you would be fine!
@@HaisteComputerRepair cool, thank you for sharing your thoughts. You've been a big help in figuring out what kind of machine I need!
@@tylertheadventurer I plan to do something similar, just need to find the time. I have run HDMI and USB cables from my workstation PC to my living room and basement televisions. So, I could connect peripherals and use my PC from three different areas.
Good day to you does this M910q have a sound card. When I plug in my headphone jack I do not hear anything.
Built in audio with Realtek ALC294. Have you tried installing drivers either through Windows Update or the Lenovo website?
Thanks for your quick response.@@HaisteComputerRepair
How does this handle 4k videos?
To which CPU I can upgrade this mini PC for better graphics and performance?
i7-7700T is the top listed in product specifications. You will have the advantage of 4 cores and 8 threads, though remember the "T" series of CPU's are designed for lower power draw. So if you are looking for something higher end it might be better to consider full size desktop options.
I bought one for 85€ with a i5 6500T I wish it had the 7th gen, for better transcoding but anyways I think it's a good price.
From what I read online it can be Bios modded to support up to 9th gen CPUs so that's a plus haha
Wow, I did not know that about the BIOS mod. Interesting. I'll have to look into it.
processor i5 7500t is not supported by windows 11, any solution ?
Yes, you can download Rufus software, then go to the Microsoft website to download the Windows 11 .iso, and using Rufus as a method to burn the image to your USB drive it will prompt you with an option to bypass the TPM 2.0 requirements Microsoft put on Windows 11. Follow this guide where it outlines using Rufus to do this. www.tomshardware.com/how-to/bypass-windows-11-tpm-requirement
@@HaisteComputerRepair Windows 11 will install this way, but I won't have the quality and security system updates, like the last one (23H2)
@@yacinechelbabiIf you want Windows 11 on hardware that isn't on the official support list, this is your option. Windows 10 will still be supported until next year. You can always give it a go and see where it takes you.
@@HaisteComputerRepair Thanks for your help.
@@yacinechelbabigood luck!
This would be really good if i could afford
I am selling them for $180 CAD in this configuration!
@@HaisteComputerRepair that's extremely cheap. Do you offer international shipping or?
Also does it have a graphics card?
@@B.W_edits I'll ship anywhere so long as the buyer is ok with shipping fees. I can always do a shipping quote. If you email haisterepair@gmail.com
@@B.W_edits Just integrated Intel HD Graphics 630
Tôi muốn gắn GPU cho máy tính này hoặc eGPU
There might be a way to do this with the m.2 port where the wifi card is housed, but I am unsure. let me know if you find out.
These little PC's are great for productivity, and some games as long as expectations are not too high. I was able to play Valorant on it on medium settings with relative ease. I got one for $150 CAD 6500t, 8gb ram, 500gb ssd. I added an extra 16gb ram so I spent around $175 Canadian total. Not bad..
Very nice! That's not bad at all, about the same price I am selling with 16GB RAM and 256GB NVMe SSD.
The computer is good for Chrome OS
Like Chrome OS Flex? You definitely could if you wanted to, though I imagined it's use case as something useful for older hardware. I have neve tried it out, so I can't really say.
can it run fortnite
About as well as I demonstrated in the video
