- I picked up a Lenovo m900 tiny desktop micro PC from Amazon Renewed featuring an Intel Core i5-6500t CPU, 16gb RAM and 256gb SSD for under $130. This is a good deal for a mini PC and might be what you are looking for.
Find it on Amazon: amzn.to/3FKBHQX

Thank you for the review! I have been looking for a while for a mini pc at a good price. In Belgium I found one via amazon for a little over 200€ (with an i7 processor). Lenovo is a good brand so hopefully this mini pc fits my needs as well 🙏🏻
I bought a M900 tiny with the same specs for AU$79 (US50) about 2 weeks ago, I also have a M92P tiny, a M700 tiny as well as a P330 tiny with a NVIDIA P620 graphics card on the way.
Oh wow, I should I shopped around more on the m900! I do still think its a good deal at 120, but yeah for the price you found its a no-brainer
I have a optiplex 7050 micro of the same spec, I use it for a Jellyfin server for now
I ended up just slotting in a 128GB ssd for the boot drive, and for now a 1TB M.2 NVMe WD black for a fast storage drive to keep all the Jellyfin movies. But before that I used it for 6 months as a basic Linux desktop running Mint and it worked great for that.
do you like jellyfin? i am thinking of giving it a try for my collection
@@BrandonStecklein I do so far. Its not perfect but since I have poor internet that can be unstable at times I can use it with or without the internet going. The i5-6500T is probably overkill for that task but the important thing I was told was 6th gen onwards has intel quicksync included with the onboard graphics in the event that encoding on the fly is required. I re-encode everything with handbrake ahead of time so I rarely need that feature.
Make video egpu on this pc
this PC does not have any thunderbolt ports
For same thing I received separate USB Wi-Fi module. Without it no Wi-Fi is possible
I picked up an internal antenna that I am going to install this week when I have some time and see if the included m.2 wifi module is working
Yours probably does not have an internal Wi-Fi module, they don't always come with one and I have added it myself on some...
What are some creative uses for the m900?
I like it as a server, but I think it would also work well as a retro emulation box connected to a TV or for watching your legitimately obtained movie collection...
can you use an SSD in that M.2 slot?
yes but only an m.2 ssd
It ain't cheap. $130 😂
That’s very cheap considering what actual pc’s or laptops cost. I got my i7, 512gb, 16gb ram for 200
that’s insanely cheap, lol
for computer/electronics type stuff at least
@@galleryofrogues I retract my statement it is cheap for a reason. I ordered mine from amazon and it was old, rusted and came with the wrong power cord. I immediately returned it. Would not recommend getting it from Amazon.
