Martin Casperson there is a 3ds emulator called Citra which used to be choppy but right now if you have even a 1050 (my case) you can play 3ds games 4k 60fps ;)
The only way I see this being useful is having your phone hooked up to it so you can reply to msgs without having to take your phone out, or if your phone is somewhere out of reach

This laptop has PRO in it, so it ain't for gaming it's for PROductivity, if you want to connect 2 additional 4K 60Hz Displays for work, you need a 1050Ti, you use Photoshop, Premiere or similar photo and video editing software, you need an i9. I have a real Desktop PC for gaming.
Also PSU and AIOs with OLED displays, Asus is crazy, wanna hook you up in their ecosystem like Apple just Asus got so much more stuff you can spend money on

Apple's touchbar while cool is still a touchbar, a long slender touchscreen that displays content like buttons and info feeds because they fit into that space. Also keep in mind the development experience and customizability for Apple's touchbar is itself hampered because of Apple's restrictions on being a developer and their control over security/software. This is an actual touchscreen which supports more display and touch functions than the touchbar because of its size. Being on a Windows platform could mean more developers can use it and they won't face the restrictions of Apple dev. Of course the big issue is it's Asus and expensive and less useful for now but it really could be done on a much cheaper laptop if manufacturers actually gave a shit.

Snapdragon Windows machines can handle regular browsing, light document editing, basic media consumption etc. with ease and the performance will only get better overtime. What you get for the loss of some the performance is amazing battery life (around 20h if I recall correctly) and continuous internet connection. It's great for students in my opinion. Can't wait to see how it will improve in the next couple of years ^^
It's obvious that you can sustain mobile chip performance in laptop over a long time. Way more headroom for cooling than you would have in a smartphone.

Well it doesn't matter nowadays on who does it first. It's more about who can perfect the formula/innovate further and get the best use out of the tech.
Honestly that track pad can be used to watch the comment section while you livestream. you can also keep obs down there and do quick transitions. Seems useful to me. Maybe you have xpad open and wanna map controls and test it while your doing that instead of going back and forth. Multi applications use is great :) I so want this.
That core i9 will be throttle city... no way that can stay under 90C under heavy load of more than 1 or 2 cores.. There is a reason it belongs in a heavy laptop. Sure, it can approach 5GHZ on 1, maybe 2 cores under load, but anymore and it will lose it's advantage to regular i7/i5 CPUs due to thermal throttling. Consumers may be tricked thinking the laptop can handle the i9. I don't see any vents.

What you get for the loss of some the performance is amazing battery life (around 20h if I recall correctly) and continuous internet connection. It's great for students in my opinion. Can't wait to see how it will improve in the next couple of years ^^
It's obvious that you can sustain mobile chip performance in laptop over a long time. Way more headroom for cooling than you would have in a smartphone.

Honestly that track pad can be used to watch the comment section while you livestream. you can also keep obs down there and do quick transitions. Seems useful to me. Maybe you have xpad open and wanna map controls and test it while your doing that instead of going back and forth. Multi applications use is great :) I so want this.
That core i9 will be throttle city... no way that can stay under 90C under heavy load of more than 1 or 2 cores.. There is a reason it belongs in a heavy laptop. Sure, it can approach 5GHZ on 1, maybe 2 cores under load, but anymore and it will lose it's advantage to regular i7/i5 CPUs due to thermal throttling.
Consumers may be tricked thinking the laptop can handle the i9. I don't see any vents.
