Looks great, just one thing, it was either the e39 m5 or the z3 m (clownshoe) that were the first with quad exhaust (e46 m3 was introduced in 2001).

I’ve never heard the bucket seats being uncomfortable - they actually get praise for their comfort even on longer trips. But I can say from own experience that they are not great to get in and out of. Tried them for a couple of days and decided against them for my own order (Touring) although they are absolutely gorgeous.
Congrats on your order on the touring model!! So quick question, is the m3 touring going to be your daily? Is that why you went with the comfort seats?
Thanks! Yes it’s going to be a daily. I’m a little taller than the average guy (6‘9“) which makes me put the seat in the lowest and rearmost position sitting right next to the B pillar. Almost impossible to get out of the car around the pillar and over the seat hump 🙈
btw didn’t fully commit on the color yet… either riviera blue or verde mantis green… wanted something bold in the ocean of black, grey and white cars nowadays 😁
They are awful To get in and out of. The thigh bolsters are too high. Side bolsters are great if you’re tracking the car. They went too far in the other direction!
