The BBC really needs to stop pushing woke tick boxing political agendas so as to avoid hiring people like him. I'm sure there are other people of the same colour and ethnic background that will do a good job because simply that's what they're good at doing instead of being such an obnoxious race baiter.

The majority of Britain is still white, so what is wrong with a few white males still making a comedy together? Comedy shouldn't be about ticking boxes, sometimes you need people who have a genuine chemistry, and have known each other for years. It could apply the same way to a group of black or brown people.

Nihal has the second most condescending voice on the planet, beaten only by the mathematical genius that is Diane L-ABBOTT-omy. His arrogant and "holier than thou" attitude and self-adulation know no bounds. The fact that he is paid by obligatory licence fee demonstrates the need for it to be scrapped.

This clown isn't fit to tie Terry Gilliam's laces. He is scrambling like mad to find relevance, and celebrity, by doing all the tired old bandwagon stuff that we're all sick of. If he had a small fraction of the talent Terry Gilliam or John Cleese have he wouldn't have to frantically search for things to be offended by, and then subject us all to his obsessive "views" on them.

  • @carlterry1728

Name the comedians. I can think of only one, Williams, from Yorkshire, who was black. Naming Waller-Bridge as an example of a breakthrough seems a bit odd though. Surely she is a very privileged white female, who would have had a pretty good shot at making it in the media industry in the 1970s.
