Not many out there filming explain his glory in the outdoors and what a gift he gave us all. You set yourself a part from a lot of others much like Jason Matzinger does with his films which are based heavily in the conservation side of hunting, the importance of family, importance of manners, respect, ethics and following the regs. He is definitely at the top of the chain when it comes to protecting what we all love and for me….live for after my daughter who comes first.

To Madi, great composure & attitude…pushing on & not letting the chase of your goals stop you from fulfilling them!!! 300 Weatherby Magnum is a large caliber for a grown man, let alone a 12 year old girl!!! You made an excellent shot & followed that bull until he toppled over…possibly putting a 2nd round down range to secure his demise. Congratulations Madi!!!!
Your Mom & Dad have outdone themselves, they are an INSPIRATION to my wife & I! We are going to do our best to raise our daughter to hunt, fish, soak up all things OUTDOORS. Most importantly, we are going to teach her that with GOD’S GRACE…ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!!

Awesome my dad took big game hunting for the time in 1979 I was 14 I've been hooked every since . Lost my hunting partner last year sure do muss my owe man .
I live in Alaska, and I go hunting all the time and I've shot dozens of animals but I've never ben elk hunting, I'd really like to at some point. Great video, and congratulations Maty!!

I elk hunt in Colorado in the late seasons. I've never heard bulls so vocal that late. I hear cows but never bulls.
In your experience was that unusual?

Sometimes they will b a cow come in heat late and that will get the boys bugling .
This was probably 1st rifle season. This year 1st rifle had more snow than 2nd or 3rd season.

What bullet do you usually use for your hunt?
We use a 300 Weatherby with a 180 grain accubond in the Select Plus rounds directly from Weatherby.
