It takes seconds fiddle to Criminal Intent though. When I'm watching or reading a crime drama I would much rather see more about the actual crime itself and the investigation of it than the people investigating or prosecuting it. Criminal intent had a little bit of those but mostly focused on the actual catching. It hit the perfect balance it was really sad how badly they bungled it after season 4. And the move to USA just accelerated it's slide downhill.
The model in the hospital bed was uncredited in this episode. Mainly bc she had no speaking parts. This Stabler was interesting to watch and a good man. I wonder if they decided to make him more dark and complicated later on because Criminal Intent with those elements was doing so well? The new current love story is so ridiculous, there is no way a real-life Olivia would have romantic feelings for this angry brutey child-man. (Although I am often wrong about these things. After all, Mika married Joe.)

@@stephenwillis6937it is much rarer in men, but it still exists. "Anorexia is a way that girls can assert control" Sorry, Anorexia and bulimia is not gender specific. You don't hear much about men who experience them because they aren't encouraged to speak out. I can't tell you how many young male athlete's I've met who have EDs because they want to achieve a specific body type. They see body builders and cut muscular men and think the way to achieve that is just by not having any body fat. One of the boys on my HS track team fainted during a race because he wasn't eating enough. Women are seen as a perfect victim. It's easy to feel sympathy for a female experiencing ED but for some reason young men get left out of the conversation because we live in a society where boys are told not to express weakness.
