I’m guessing for one reason or another she was working a different lead, considering Finn was the one who interviewed the other girl. She might have gone to talk to the real “Brandy” while Elliot and Finn talked to the 2 girls
From my experience it really depends. If the person is a trained forensic interviewer, gender is a non issue. However there are victim advocates who are overwhelmingly female who are there to support the child victim and be there to offer comfort while not messing up the investigation. Again it varies. I once had a case where i was called out to interview the children 13 times. So no matter my training, those poor kids would cry every time they saw me. So a male investigator was the right call in that moment. There is a lot of nuance involved and thinking in your feet with regards to child safety.

She went from small TH-cam channels to shows like this to "Girl Meets World" and now onto singing. Shes supposes to be in Columbus,Ohio starting her tour soon.

Keep in mind that as uncomfortable as it is to see children act like they’ve been assaulted, there are real kids who have, and the actors on this show have done a lot of good work to bring awareness and resources to victims and their families, as well as preventative measures to keep future kids safe.
