@@idgafjuslisten That’s actually false information. That statement was made by the SEPTA police chief, who said so, but other officials said that this did not happen upon reviewing the footage. The chief wasn’t present at the site either.
Also, a few days later, a similar assault on a train happened, but was stopped quickly by bystanders intervening, so it was an isolated case.
However, I’m glad the perp was arrested and charged. He was actually an illegal immigrant on an expired student visa but was allowed to stay after review.
Shame, he had a second chance and threw it all away in the worst way possible.

When I was at school, 14, a girl groped me for a dare. Took me ten years to realise that was actually a sexual assault. Mostly I thought about how it was done to amuse a group of people. People I knew. For three years or nine years at that point. I'd know them for five, eleven and thirteen years ultimately.
At the time it was upsetting to yet again be picked on. When I actually realised what that experience really was, that really did confirm my beliefs that a lot of teens really do have no concept of morality.

Back in the late ‘70s, I was taking the Path train from NYC to Jersey City. Mid-day, I wasn’t feeling well. Near empty car. This woman with long hair sat next to me. I saw, out of the corner of my eye, a hot dog. I looked over. That weren’t no lady, and that weren’t no hot dog. I should have dropped my briefcase on him. I got up, and found a train guy. I don’t think anything happened to the creep, though.

    Spoilers:
It wasn’t this guy obviously. The real perp attacked someone again and someone grabbed him as he ran away and he dropped a card for a parking lot where he often left his company car during his “extracurriculars.” They tracked him down and he almost got off on a technicality. But one of his earlier victims had gotten pregnant through the r*pe and even though she wouldn’t testify they were able to use the baby as leverage to get him to confess. He didn’t, but they brought him out of the interrogation room into the main room where his pregnant victim was sitting and he confessed to her and said when he got out of jail they’d be a family. They took him away

Look I have helped train a couple of guys trying to go for the bar exam in their states to become lawyers...when I was an admin of a large gaming guild back in the early 2000. A few of us would spend hours in voice chat while playing online MMORPG games helping the person going for the exam, by letting them bounce real court experiences in chat and we would discuss the details...sometimes for hours. Glad to say the 3 guys we tried to help all passed the bar exam in their state...and a couple of them have went on to get Board Certifited in multiple states.
