I thought this would be a good comparison between yesterday's drag racing M140 xDrive and this track-spec version.

Day 4 asking same question: I have budged up to 30k € what is most friendly and fun car to experiance and learn nurbering? That goes fast not to expensive and gives you fun time... you can even say Clio 2010 for example that cost like 5-10k.. need your help 😢

It’s vague as hell as question. In the Uk you can get an S4 Audi and tie for 30k and it will be rs4 fast and fit all your family stuff in

@@Smartestfacts Something light to keep away from too much maintence costs. Like a miata with some better pads and fluid would be good. Otherwise Megane RS is a sick track car, e92 m3 is mad but might break ur budget. If its gonna be a car that will be used alot on the track i would advice against tuning it, exahust for the sound and air filter is ok tho.
Braided brake lines, flud and pads, better oil cooling or/and fans + cooler is always good to look over for any track car. Especially on the ring since its sucha long track.
To learn the ring you dont need more then 200hp, like going fast on the straights isnt where you learn the track :)

honestly, what a phenomenal drive, i went complete tunnel vision numerous times on this one just staring into the corners hoping i wouldn't crash xd genuinely feels like i'm a passenger with you sometimes, seeing how the bounces affected you quite roughly in this one made me worried but you handled it amazing, great job yet again Misha
Simply making a fast lap look as though there is very little drama shows just how good this car really is. Also the fact it is tuned and did neither overheat or cook its brakes doing 2 laps should not be understated, a quality motor IMO
Love the cleanliness of the build. I never thought I could say that of a track car, but it looks very elegant somehow.

This car took 9.5 seconds from 100-200 kph on the flat section at 7:10. That’s on the speedo so a vbox or dragy would read slower still!
That is the pace of a 380-400hp 140i. Where do people get these power figures from? Quote me happy dynos?… A 550hp 140i is a rocket ship!
Either way it’s great setup car and the lap was superb!
He’s even got the stock fuel pump look at 0:33 seconds.
Nowhere this is 540 hp.

stage 2 M140i makes approx 470HP at the crank which is 400 at the wheels. 500+ requires turbo upgrades, there seems to be a trend of BMW drivers lying about their figures on youtube :P

What a weapon, seriously I understand why Misha did not speak as I was glued to all the braking and turn-in markers, not usually a BMW fan but man that car looks good and drives very well. Love this video man!

pretty sure he meant to say 450 hp, because 550 hp would have been a lot faster and also it would have meant upgrade turbos. Stage 2 is smack bang at 450 aswell. Stunning car, great lap 🔥
If he is just on intercooler and sports cat then ye would be around 450 , if he has upgraded fuel pump then he could hit 500 easy on stock turbo :)

Nice to watch, as always Mischa! How come this claimed 550HP car only hit ~247 km/h indicated before Schwedenkreuz and 500HP M4 GTS hits GPS based 260 km/h at the same spot?
Because 540 isnt possible on stage 2.
Im driving a 340i xdrive msport stage2+ with upgraded fuel pump and running between 485-500 and other intake i guess.
Youll need a hybrid on ron 98/102 to get to 540-560 or a ethanol blend on stock turbo. Its not possible with just a stage 2 only
Quite a lot better to drive than the recent pretender VW Golf R you had on! This guy could teach that guy a thing or two about setting up a track car

Seemed to be a very fluid car to drive and was a pleasure to watch. Have a soft spot for the M140i anyway but a really well sorted car.
Love the gauge overlay but they are getting a bit big! Makes it hard to see the turn in point when I am trying to imagine that I am the one driving 😁

The car and the lap are great but i dont think this car has 550hp because standard f80 m3 is a lot faster in straights.
Awesome run here Misha, love how the owner is just cool, calm, confident, yet focused whilst he trust you with every morsel of his project build. Definitely with a fine tuned suspension this will be putting it proper to some machinery that won't have a clue. 😅

pretty nice build 👌but imo noway that 550 or nearly 500hp. 400-430 i think is much more realistic but dosent matter nice build as i said props too the owner
I would imagine it's probably a little over 500 crank horsepower, maybe 430ish whp.
Just a tune gets it to 400 whp, a downpipe is all it takes to get 500 and some ethanol out of the motor let alone mods he did to make it a track build
Tend to agree with you there, unless it's been bumped with ethanol, it ain't 550, 450 maybe. But not to take anything away from the owner, an absolutely stellar car and beautiful build.
Seems to gather pace similarly to my stage 2 M240i. I imagine it’s 420-440hp.
Did you watch the video and see how slow THIS car was accelerating? Also peak speeds in certain sections were no quicker than 400hp variants and this car was exciting bends quicker!
M140i sounds great. It's no singing V12, but it has a great sound.
For 550hp it seems to lay down the power really smoothly. Niiiice
It’s not running 550 hp here! There’s simply no way it can be accelerating that slowly from 100-200! Even it’s peak speeds were well down at certain sections compared to other 450hp variants
A stage 2 doesnt get close to 540. You will need a hybrid turbo for it to reach 540.
I'll have to watch the vid again, I thought he said 550 near the start. I thought it looked way under that power but thought it must have some super duper mapping and traction control keeping it from using full power 🤦🏻♂️
Edit: watched it again and he does say 550hp with a 'smooth' mapping 🤷🏻♂️

@mgcharoudin Misha, it would be awesome if you can include telemetry, track layout, and a time display for your current position and then from future videos you can catalog cars, there unique layouts, weather conditions, etc to make a very special and unique and valuable dataset that could be of very good value there @ the NÜRBURGRING. You can see which cars are the fastest, quickest in the turns, quickest in the different sections, best topspeed .... That would be amazing to see and I'm not sure if it has been done here on TH-cam? 🤟

Misha, I was never that cool while driving Nürburgring. Excellent driving and a nice car. Oh my days on PS3 GT6.... On another note, my car's brakes squeal as well but I think it is because I didn't skim the disks on replacing the pads.
Not a big deal in my opinion, but since they have changed the track exit ive seen you take the left lane to turn right multiple times. The signs at 13:23 show that youre only allowed to go left there. Only the right lane is for turning right.

Hey Misha! You are an racing inspiration for me. You are the reason I have started watching F1. 😂 I want to start racing so could you recommend any racing shoes close to 100 dollars and some gloves? Thanks in advance.
Any normal running shoes with a rounded heel and light construction is good. And normal $10 fabric mechanic gloves you can get at a hardware/auto store are good as well
@@AKK5I to be fair I tried a buddies racing gear and I felt a huge difference. Also I had some really great running shoes that broke after some time of using them.
