This is an up close look and walk through assembly guide of the Tenacontrols 10001-A
Navigation and Strobe Light Board kit for Starship Model Kit Lighting.
Excellent! I'll defiantly be using the new board in future buildups. Very good products and well worth the $. Keep up the good work, it's great to have this stuff for our model kits.
Thank you very much for your kind words about our Nav/Strobe board. We now have next generation microprocessor Navigation/Strobe board with terminal screw connectors, also we made the board even smaller.
Great review, I was looking for a light kit and this is perfect. Thanks
Ok thanks will get on to tena controls and get them to send me some out Thanks boyd and keep up the good work and till next time happy modeling
Thanks again, keep the videos coming!!!!
Yes you can purchase separate electronic parts and build your own flasher system for less than the cost of this board. But the kit also comes with several LED's and the resistor's for them.
I have priced the parts out and $39 does not leave them too much profit. You are also getting a pre assembled board.
There are lots of hobbyist's that might not know how or want to do that and want a ready to go system.
They have frost type paint at home depot in a spray can. I've tried it and it works good.
Another great video thank you!
We also provide Photon Torpedo board with built in sound of the firing, Deflector dish board, Impulse Engine board and Landing Bay board. We have a combo board made for the 1701 that has all the above features minus the Photon Torpedo function, just something to keep in mind. We have tried to keep things very easy for all the model builders out there so they can enjoy their model build up process.
Yes you can add them in with no problems. They just need 9-12 volt power.
Hi trek works just would like a bit of advice on these tena controls boards ave gt a enterprise 1 350 refit and wanting to add the deflector dish fader board the navigation and strobe board lights and the photon torpedo board can these be added to a 9 volt system at any point in my bulid tar and love your work
Cant find this on ebay, what does the seller go by on ebay? Thanks for the review its a very nice strobe board,
If your going to use the LED light strip where would you get the power from? Would you tap off from the power supply or the board itself?
Leon
I'm very interested in trying this out for my NX-01 Refit. How easy are the instructions to follow for someone who knows almost nothing about electronics?
The boards are very easy to wire up following the instructions they come with. And if you have any questions you can always contact Ralph at Tenacontrols by email and he will steer you straight.
Hi Tena controls. Do you ship to the UK???
There will be two versions of the original star trek 1/350 kit. One will have no lights, photo etches. The second one will have the lights, photo etches. Then Polar lights will bring out the lighting kit and the photo etches as separate kits later on. Which is a way I have been told, by the place where I buy my kits.
I am taking my first crack at a LED model. Can anyone give some advice on what paint product works well for frosting the clear pieces?
Ok... so this is the board you are using on your 1/350 TOS now.
