There are usually small stories, with the Chinese as the negative example, although today they are all deceptive. I am an Indian in a white collared job and I have travelled across many parts of India (and abroad) and nothing reeks of fourth world mediocrity as India. Sure there are stunningly beautiful places like our tourist attractions (mountains, beaches, wildlife etc.) but remember these are the minority. The majority of India lives and experiences squalor of the kind that was shown by B&B so let us not kid ourselves. All our cities are broken and are the epitome of poor planning / infra. It is only when you escape to these touristy places (which only 5% of Indians can do), does one find relief. (BTW our tourist attractions are also on the decline, you have to see the mess our hill stations have become). And for the privileged elites like us, we create our own private 'first world cocoon' where we interact / socialize with people with only our own socio-economic background in ‘first world’ settings like someone’s private homes, clubs, restaurants, bars or farm houses. So again, MAJORITY of India s like this. I am not keen on purposely beating us down, so don’t label me as anti-national. But it is only when you accept the truth, you can take steps to improve.
Why are you speaking sense here? Most of the country's people have become brainwashed to blame others be it Muslims or Khalistanis or China or Britishers
What has happened to the hill stations? I don't mind areas like Ladakh, Northern Himachal Pradesh but just dealing with flying in to Delhi is why I won't be coming back.

Dear Mr Bald, from an Indian, thank you for posting this. I didn’t watch your whole video because honestly I know the rest, but as indians we are fed up too - at least those of us who want to see the country develop and don’t aim to live off taxpayer handouts. Most of us end up giving up half our incomes through direct and indirect taxes but we can’t get basic regulations in place for sanitation, waste management, roads, traffic, safety, and the most important of all, population control in a country where the majority can’t even feed themselves but keep multiplying like rabbits. It’s a cess pit that’s kept that way by a cartel that wants to keep the majority of the voting population desperate and dependent, and devoid of any perspective whatsoever. I’m disgusted, disappointed, and lack any hope for change. Yet I can’t publicly talk about this since people who do have been known to get arrested in some cases, or at the very least labeled “anti-national” ironically by a so called administration that picked up right where the British left off, looting the country like it’s noone’s business.
most of your points are true , tho the ones labelling you anti-national are "indians" themselves (mostly lower urban middle-class) who fell venting out their anger upon the free minded individuals

As an Indian, I can pretty much say that those who ignore and get mad at this video are hypocrites. British left the country 76 years ago, yet we blame them for our current situation. Even when I was in India, I tried educating people on hygiene and sanitation, but they laughed at me, now the world is laughing at them 😂
I don't think you have any logic here
True true I am an Indian no joke still my country men get offended for something which is right in front of them
Did they show you designated -anti- hygiene streets?
Many people here saying that he filmed the worst locations of India and he could have shown the beautiful locations. I am from Himachal and have travelled the length and breadth of the country. Just look down the slopes of any tourist place here in Himachal and others in the country you will see plastic wrappers, bottles, everywhere. Many people here are also commenting how south India is better but I have lived in south India for 4 years and once our college organised a drive to clean Sabrimala. There was a river on the way to the temple and people were bathing in it and discarded clothes of the devotees were floating on it , but people were still taking bath in the murky water. While I was posted in Madhya Pradesh I ordered poha and the guy casually scratched his ass with his hands and served me poha. Bald calls this "goodness" in one of his earlier videoes that he shot in India. Once in Madhya Pradesh I was walking between the two standing buses I felt some wet thing drop on my neck , I looked up and saw a woman was spitting gutka from the window of the bus. This Gutka eating habit is worst in MP. In my office from the manager to the peon ate gutka and all had bad teeth. Once I went to the famous parathe wali gali with my sister and these people were literally touching the dough with their feet. Now I am posted in Jammu and here also I see the same things. Just visit the Bus stand in Jammu and you will see , there is no maintenance . It is a newly constructed bus stand but you will see gutka marks everywhere. I haven't gone to the northeast but what I have heard is that they are better than us. I dont agree with other things he says but about the hygiene and cleanliness he is spot on.
Thank you for your wisdom🙏 If majority of india population is intelligent as you then india would be much better place. 🙏
