Watching the show, I felt like it was a bit of a missed opportunity the way they had him simply watch a video in order to retcon him into being the Loki we saw at the start of Infinity War. I’d have liked to have seen a whole show featuring asshole Loki travelling through the space-time continuum on a bunch of crazy, morally ambiguous adventures where maybe by the _end_ he learns a couple of life lessons. But I guess that’s not the direction they wanted to go in.

Tbf, she didn't expect to run into herself who'd take her away from the time keepers and the years in the making part was hiding from the TVA and also stealing reset charges to bomb at 1 moment. Still better prepared than Sam not having his phone on silent before dealing with shady crime bosses

I read it that they were into each other because they both saw something in the other that they found admirable and surprising. Like, our Loki sees that Sylvie has been running and hiding and fighting her whole life, and is brave and resourceful in ways that he hadn't acknowledged himself to be.

The head writer Michael Waldron said in an interview that he has never watched any of the previous movies with Loki in it. Makes sense why there are so many things wrong about Loki in the show.

All of the characters seem pretty convinced that Loki and Sylvie falling in love is what caused a split in the timeline, despite the fact that they were seconds away from the apocalypse. Unless they’re going to explain that something else happened right at that same time that would have stopped the apocalypse, it seems like lazy writing.

Jonathan Majors had some of the best acting I've seen in any movie or show in a long while. I could read every thought, every emotion he had on his face without words. His words and delivery were just as good as his mannerisms. Bloody brilliant actor.
You can watch any movie or show that has a very long scene full of talking, then you'll understand why those were successful in delivery and why Loki's was not.

They took Silvy for apparently no reason but the truth is she was taken so she would also end up at Kangs place.
I mean all the plot holes they brought up actually have a fairly reasonable explanation. like the temp pads battery dying, I mean she just used that temp pad to send like 100 bombs through time, and it makes sense she would only leave enough power for a trip to the TVA and a trip back so she could send as many bombs as possible. Also, the pruning being a teleporter. I mean even if they kill them they wouldn't be able to destroy their matter, and even that extra matter could affect the timeline, so they send that matter to a place where it will be destroyed.
So... Loki falling in love with him/herself. Can Loki genuinely fall in love or is this just everyday narcissism for media types? Um... so let's say Loki gets intimate with him/herself. Is that incest, masturbation, or just everyday narcissism again? It seems we're learning a good deal about the makers of this series.

I read it that they were into each other because they both saw something in the other that they found admirable and surprising. Like, our Loki sees that Sylvie has been running and hiding and fighting her whole life, and is brave and resourceful in ways that he hadn't acknowledged himself to be.

I’m glad you brought up the butterfly effect and the fact that Loki and Sylvie falling in love in an apocalypse should have by their own logic done nothing. Those things bothered me all season.

All of the characters seem pretty convinced that Loki and Sylvie falling in love is what caused a split in the timeline, despite the fact that they were seconds away from the apocalypse. Unless they’re going to explain that something else happened right at that same time that would have stopped the apocalypse, it seems like lazy writing.

Jonathan Majors had some of the best acting I've seen in any movie or show in a long while. I could read every thought, every emotion he had on his face without words. His words and delivery were just as good as his mannerisms. Bloody brilliant actor.
You can watch any movie or show that has a very long scene full of talking, then you'll understand why those were successful in delivery and why Loki's was not.

The TVA told Loki that they took him because he wasn't supposed to take the Tesseract is because Kang told told them that was the reason. But it is a lie. They had to take Loki because one specific Loki, that one who was able to flee because of the timetraveling of the avangers, was supposed to end up at Kangs place.

I mean all the plot holes they brought up actually have a fairly reasonable explanation. like the temp pads battery dying, I mean she just used that temp pad to send like 100 bombs through time, and it makes sense she would only leave enough power for a trip to the TVA and a trip back so she could send as many bombs as possible. Also, the pruning being a teleporter. I mean even if they kill them they wouldn't be able to destroy their matter, and even that extra matter could affect the timeline, so they send that matter to a place where it will be destroyed.
