I’m starting to come to a similar conclusion as you, eating carbs with fruit, vegetables and some grains during the day and meat in the evening. I feel this covers all bases. I no longer believe in extreme or one size fits all after so many years of trying vegan, vegetarian, carnivore, standard, raw meat, fruitarian diets and everything else in between. I know you think you can’t do butter… but I was the same. Dairy was a nightmare for me in any form. Then as I finally went through a healing process… I tired dairy again… and this time very carefully… AMISH butter.. so a big loaf of salted butter (do you have Amish folks by you who sell?) and I add it to every single thing I eat, now. I’m astounded. Not only is it not hurting me, now but it seems to be satiating me like nothing else!! It’s making every single thing I eat not just good but it’s helping me with sleep and neurological healing and my horrid teeth seem to be finally improving after 52 years of losing them!! My body now wants and accepts BUTTER!! I’m not going to use something other than the Amish butter… but I hope you can try! I add it even to meat I cook (I don’t eat much meat).. and it makes the meat better and I’m noticing that I’m waaaay less constipated.:: which is so ironic because dairy USED to constipate me! Overall… I’m just so happy you are allowing yourself to make choices based on day to day what you sense is best and within your relationship to God. I’m so proud of you!!

    For me, maintaining a high-fat diet is crucial for controlling my blood sugar levels. I can consume as much natural sugar as I want, as long as it comes from natural sources. The specific diet we follow doesn't matter as much as how we feel on it. It's important to remember that our conditions can change over time, and the human body's adaptability allows us to enjoy a variety of foods. Let's savor this opportunity and enjoy our meals. One thing is certain: seed oils and grains are the worst.
    Love you all!

      This is a fact. After getting SIBO or Leaky gut & then having gluten & histamine intol. I had to quit all grains & refined carbs sugar so I went mostly carniv-dairy. I had to cut the sour crm & cheese back tho, so minimal dairy. Sugar & seed oils were what probably rekt my gut & I'm learning that it takes a real long time to heal it, carniv. is least inflamation so I stay meatbased for now. Always adapting to any changes.

      @Speaker-To-Animals-q7y 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is true that the needs of the body, or what the body can & can't handle, change over time. I used to love onions, garlic, leeks all that oily stuff. Then rather suddenly I developed an intense reaction to it, body rash etc. Had to completely cut out onions garlic leeks scallion, anything like that. If I eat it I get a rash in minutes and the onion oil almost immediately starts oozing out of my pores. Figure that out! 🤷‍♂ Wouldn't surprise me if what we eat and how it affects us, is entirely individual, & not really related to diet at all.

      @co7qw 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@bitterangels4001 Yes, it is important to identify what has broken the gut too. Pesticides in things like high-fructose corn syrup combined with seed oils are the worst combo for sure. The carnivore diet is fine for a very short time, but after a while, it becomes worse and worse, and the meat just turns into sugars. After identifying what broke the gut, we need to identify what heals the gut. For this, fats are the answer. A high-quality fat diet like bone broth (oxtail, marrow, head, joints, etc.) will heal your gut. After that, you'll react less and less to other foods

  • @HopefulCarnivore
    @HopefulCarnivore 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

    When I do carnivore too strict, I feel like my emotions are like a robot. Like I am monotone I don’t care. I am wondering if carnivore affects neurodivergent people differently and I would suspect that you’re under the neurodivergent umbrella also. They are lower dopamine. So brain sparks of carb energy may bring is to a neurotypical level of neurochemicals.

      But not everyone reacts the same with different foods. For some Red Meat is really detrimental, it has to be individual and track what works for you or not. I'm celiac even if grains we're a super food which their not, probably one of the worst foods, I can't even tolerate rice and oats even if gluten free. • @jts841
      @jts841 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@plantbasedethos5726 my opinion on some of that is that someone will have a reaction to their meal and blame it on the meat when it was actually something else in the meal. And the reason they end up blaming the meat is because it takes a bit longer to digest and they will burp up the taste of meat something that makes them think it’s the meat when in actuality it’s the mixture of fruit, starch, whatever they ate that causes the problem.

    Teeth health is 100% directly tied to "nutrition" it has been shown since the 1800's that teeth decay is associated with sugars ( all ... fruits also) and reduced levels of fat soluble vitamins A, D and K2 ( animal sources) .
    The A and D fat soluble vitamins are "signalling" (hormones) to proteins... fat soluble vitamins K2 is the "activator" of the protein.
    You need all 3 and foods that provide this especially if you have some sort of dental degeneration and or bone fragility.

    Very good point you mentioned in the video Kasey. Most people neglect this but when you eat so much meat there's an energy attached to that food, more denser and kind of depression it's definitely a different energy. But all fruit is not the answer long term is very hard to sustain

  • @uberneanderthal
    @uberneanderthal 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    if you think you're avoiding Randle Cycle activation by having sugar and fat in separate meals, you're wrong. Carbs take up to 72 hours to fully metabolize. The stuff you're using for energy today is what you ate yesterday or even the day before.

    • @ThePallidor
      @ThePallidor 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Carbs or just starches? Physiology generally doesn't understand that fruit is special. It's not just a bag of fructose, fiber, and nutrients like they reductionistically think.

    • @uberneanderthal
      @uberneanderthal 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@ThePallidor what's special about fruit?
      fruit exists because plants want animals to eat them and spread their seeds. that's why they usually contain fructose, which is essentially a drug that works by activating the orexin receptor creating an addiction cycle.
      fructose is also 7x as glycative as glucose, extremely damaging to tissue. which also makes sense: the plant wants to rot your teeth so they don't damage the seed. however it doesn't want to damage your soft tissue which is why these fruits often contain high amounts of vitamin C, to repair the glycative damage to soft tissue while leaving the teeth to rot.
      fruit modulates/enslaves animals to be the perfect seed carriers.

    On of the things we don’t really stress in this space is, yes we were hunter gatherers. Yes, we thrived on an animal based diet. But we have tried to adopt the old way in a time of abundance. We also have fattier animals than we did in the past. Most people agree that the fat in livestock is what carries the flavor. I think we’d eat less as a species if the meat was overall leaner.

    So a sort of Paul Saladino diet except you eat the animal products only in the evening and make sure you don't mix them with the fruit?
    I don't watch every Paul Saladino video but what I gathered from one of his latest "what I eat in a day" videos, he does eat a huge amount of fruit and fruit juices, like at least 300-400 grams of carbs.
    So even a guy like him who's a big proponent of good quality animal products, also realizes that the human body needs a lot of carbs to really feel good. And some fiber too.
    And obviously, as you said, the animal products fill the huge nutritional gaps that the raw vegan fruitarians have and the reason why they are wasting away. Best of both worlds.

      At the moment, what you are describing sounds more like a "fruit cleanse", with some added proteins to maintain a minimum of nutrition.
      It's common for people who've been on either full animal products or full fruits, to make a 180° turn because they've filled with one source so much and lacked the other source so much that switching completely fills the gaps, temporarily.
      You see the same thing with Vegan and Carnivore, not uncommon to see people switch from one extreme to the other because obviously they will feel good on the foods they've been lacking for so long.

    This is it brother, it seems finally you integrated the vital comments we been making over the years. Its all "intuitive". I have found much more peace mentally & emotionally not being 100% raw but eating with the environment/climate and season. I prefer how I feel when I eat only fruits but its not always ideal with the climate/environment and season. Nowadays if its winter and cold, I enjoy what my body wants without judgment or negative/false beliefs about how the food will negatively effect me. After my dry fasts I was able to tolerate cooked foods again and could enjoy them more often without the negative side effects that the raw foodists put into your head. And the mental & emotional peace = the physical health... Buddha wrote (the middle way) for a reason. In the spring/summer/tropics I am almost 100% on fruit and in winter or cold climate, I am mostly on fruits during the day and warm cooked veggie meal in the evenings, or whatever feels right, moment to moment, environment to environment, couldn't stress the importance of intuition because that's your soul guiding you to what you need every moment rather than logic/mind which is of limited/text-book intelligence, whereas intuition is divine/infinite intelligence. Many Blessings ~

      PS you look much better and more alive, your vibe completely changes when you go from carnivore to mostly fruit based, even with the little fish... and for the beans, coming from a traditional bean-making family, you need to soak them well, overnight up to 24 hours and changing the water once or twice at least, then cook for at least 2 hours... finish up with adding some coconut cream, favorite spices, kelp > salt ect... Adding carrots, celery, bell pepper, tomato 1 hour in helps too, mashing a potato to thicken the soul with the cream, cook for another 15 minutes with lid slightly open, and its done. If you still have a lot of gas may need to sprout the beans before cooking. Takes few days longer. Peace & Love...
