The heads that run the reserve have to be appointed directly by congress, and they are not allowed to print money, among other things, without direct congressional approval. The government wants people to think that the federal reserve is a separate entity because they are afraid people will lose faith in the value of the dollar if people realize they are just using the fed to print money, which causes inflation and brings the value of the dollar down. England had this problem when they made their own centralized government bank called the bank of england. People realized they were printing money and stopped using it and got pretty angry that their government was making them poorer by inflating their own currency. Also alot of people don't really know why just printing money is so bad, but its because the value of a country's currency is tied to how much gold that country has. So if the value of a dollar is equal to one dollars worth of gold, and then a bunch of money gets printed, the amount of gold stays the same, but now there are more dollars, so the value of the dollar drops to compensate, and now one dollar is valued at 70 cents worth of gold, and the value just keeps going down with the amount of money being printed. This is why inflation acts sort of like an unseen tax that keeps going up with the amount of money that's printed, where people have to spend more money to get the same amount of stuff they could have gotten before inflation. I think if you Google "congress and the federal reserve" you should be able to find all this info but its been like a decade since the last time I looked into this, so it might be different key words to find it but it should be there.

All you need is to weaken steel to bring down a building, you don't need it to melt completely. Take out some load-bearing beams, add weight, and cause fires that burn hot enough to weaken steel (or melt, but more likely weaken), a building of any height can collapse, let alone a skyscraper. But temperatures can be reached if it's just a fire involving wood or paper products. If the building has damaged gas pipes from the crash, you get temperatures even higher. Jet fuel has a flashpoint and autoignition temperature where it can burn hot enough to catch other things on fire and create a sustained stress on steel. The fuel itself doesn't have to burn, it can just be its vapors, and once the right temperatures are reached, steel beams can be weakened. Will it melt? It might take a while, it doesn't take all of it to melt in order for a building to fall. I don't have a problem with people suggesting it was a demolition - a little strange to wait so long to "blow things up". Could've been instantly blown up if they were going to do it. Either way, let's not say "can't". Conditions matter. Jet fuel flies airplanes thousands of miles. It can melt steel under the right conditions.... but nobody is saying that it would have to do that. The thing about Patrice talking about gun laws and how every citizen basically makes a standing army has been known for a long time. It's the reason why the Japanese never planned an attack or invasion on mainland America. High temperatures from fire can weaken steel beams. Pretty sure a plane crash would cause at least one fire.
I don't understand why people say it has to melt. I'm not saying Bush didn't plan 9/11 or whatever other conspiracy theory, he is evil. I know that a heavy plane full of fuel and dead people can weigh down a structurally-damaged building. All you need is to weaken steel to bring down a building, you don't need it to melt completely. Take out some load-bearing beams, add weight, and cause fires that burn hot enough to weaken steel (or melt, but more likely weaken), a building of any height can collapse, let alone a skyscraper.
But temperatures can be reached if it's just a fire involving wood or paper products. If the building has damaged gas pipes from the crash, you get temperatures even higher.
Jet fuel has a flashpoint and autoignition temperature where it can burn hot enough to catch other things on fire and create a sustained stress on steel. The fuel itself doesn't have to burn, it can just be its vapors, and once the right temperatures are reached, steel beams can be weakened. Will it melt? It might take a while, it doesn't take all of it to melt in order for a building to fall.
I don't have a problem with people suggesting it was a demolition - a little strange to wait so long to "blow things up". Could've been instantly blown up if they were going to do it. Either way, let's not say "can't". Conditions matter. Jet fuel flies airplanes thousands of miles. It can melt steel under the right conditions.... but nobody is saying that it would have to do that. Why does the steel have to melt?
Only people who have a simplistic understanding of chemistry or physics thinks steel must melt to be ruptured. Steel, solid metal, may be broken under the right conditions. It can be weakened by high temperature, it can be weakened by cryogenic temperature..... or high pressure.....
