My second short film made during the third lockdown here in the UK. Decided to make another horror short, after really enjoying making my first one.
This film was selected for the 2021 Horror Lust Film Festival and Lift-Off Global Network Sessions, for which I am extremely excited about and grateful for.
Big thanks to my girlfriend who helped me out in this one, although she hated every second of me asking her to film though. thank also to couple of my friends who helped me out with final tweaks.

😂 I’ll take the compliment that you said they were good! Na, but to be fair it is difficult to make good/smart characters in horror. Definitely something I need to work on! Only my second short. Any suggestions you have for smarter/ better characters let me know. Appreciate you watching anyway! 👍
@@_jonkent I definitely understand that challenge from a creative stand point. But if you look at the horror genre, it’s very common for the characters to be complete morons. lol. Keep up the great work, but do not be afraid to challenge the norms to create something unique and epic!! 😊😎👌🏾✨
Yeah 100%. I’ve been watching a lot of Alfred Hitchcock interviews and he says “avoid the clique”, also Jordan Peele with his horror/thrillers is always thinking of the audience and how characters make choices! Definitely an area I’ll be working on improving! Thanks man 👍
@@_jonkent If this is your first short film this is actually a rather terrific start. It is very well shot in each and every scene, very clean and well put together, the monster is not corny or over done, your actress is quite brilliantly convincing and the story line is very simple to follow and draws the viewer into the drama and keeps our attention and suspense. I’m looking forward to more great work from you so keep up the great work. If there is anything constructive you can gain from this critique use it to your advantage. You’ve just earned both a new sub and a fan of your work!! 😎😊👌🏾✨
