The end, Anya was taken to the ogresses place of hiding. It then put itself inside of her as she was the only one it could. The story does continue after this, obviously this was just a shortened version of a longer story. Budget is a one thing and it was my first real short film.

Haha yes it is. That part is not the true story, she did get hung once they caught her in London. However for my story here this was part of the back story. The mirrors became a sort of a gate way to trap her soul, which is why sister Claire cursed Anyas mirror and sent her directly to the ogress.

So the evil old lady is Amelia dyers great great grand daughter. Yes she cast a spell on the mirror, she had been manipulating her and breaking her down over the last year, and that was the final piece of her plan. The brackets were more like symbols. In the real story of Amelia Dyer used string to strangle baby’s and children to death. The bracelets are this lady’s call back to that to signify her victims.

So the ending here has her come face to face with the ogress demon. It’s goes into her and takes control. This was only a short film that is part of a larger feature I’m working on.
