Given the P220 apparently has an attachment that makes it double action only, that should also change the animation to not use the decocker or recock it.

IT IS SO FUCKING CLEAR HYPER WORKED ON THIS. His amazing animation combined with the sound design that is probably the best I've ever heard, makes these guns so weighty, hefty, and fun to use.
I love that the weapon inspects in the newer games are more "realistic". (Not sure that's the right word) How your actually checking the functioning parts of the weapon, looking for dirt in the mag, checking the round is fed properly into the chamber, rather than just looking at your gun and going "oooh pretty". Really ads the the feel and vibe of the game.
i'd use the word "detailed" before "realistic". it's far from rational to catch a shotgun shell every time you inspect it, but it sure as hell has a lot of style to it.

5:05 love the use of the de-cocker and then re-cocking the hammer on the P226. As someone who owns a SIG, it feels good to have such an awesome and accurate depiction of it in a video game!
Big plus for using the forward assist on the Armalite model after pulling the charging handle. Ensures that the bolt is forward and not out of position after checking the chamber. But a big minus in the HK models (Lachman in game). The roller locks on them can remain unlocked if a check is done, meaning you'd have to pull it back all the way, eject the first round, and do the iconic slap to close and lock the bolt.
I love how for the M4 and Scar, they combined the animation with the equip animation from mw2019. Especially with the forward assist animation for the m4
I'm a gun nut and I absolutely love all the attention to detail they put in this game. I'm loving the changes that they made for launch too, I may now consider picking this game up.
For any one who is concerned that the inspection on the marlin model (Lockwood MK) will cause a jam if you pay close attention you can see that the fingers are pressed against the insert port preventing the gun from chambering a new round 4:09. This also fooled me cause it was so subtle.
I like how the guns they added to mw19 were already added to mw22 makes sense in the long run and adds opportunity to add more unique guns in the future
This inspections are insaneeeee!! If you pay close attention and have the volume up, you can hear the reverb and echos of the clicking of mags in the room. Its like real life
that "hyper" guy really made some good shiz over the years and got in to game devs just to make some smooth animations, from titanfall to cod, putting mags in is his life

@@Bobby55510 steyr sights? An aug either has a pic rail or an integral 1.5x or 3x scope from the factory. The aug in real life was never meant to have irons other than backup ones molded into the original monolithic receiver and scope from the 1970s.
Despite my issues with modern CoD games, these guns are genuinely beautiful. If they manage to bring back ALL guns from MW19, and still toss in a ton of brand new ones, I’ll be excited to see how gorgeous they’ll look and sound.
Fun fact, all the weapons also have Out of Ammo inspect animations that are separate and unique to the standard inspect animations. Only works when you’re totally Out of Ammo though. 😉
I'm personally a big fan of all the ak and scar variants they're bringing that we've never really seen in a cod game before like the ak105 (0:47), pp19 vityaz (1:43), and scar light (0:14)
The inspect animations on these weapons are so detailed and accurate that it's hard for any other game to compete. My only qualm tho is the fact that the AUG HBAR doesn't have a unique inspect, even compared to the AUG and the AUG 9mm. That, as well as the AR90, are the only ones with the traditional MW2019 inspect animations which is a bit odd. Hopefully they do give them proper animations like the rest.
Haven't seen weapon inspects since Far cry 2. Those are some nice models and it shows of the work the designers put into them as well. Of course a fancy eject for the Deagle 50 and what surprised me was the revolver Ocelot twirling with the 44.
Anybody else have a moment of utter fear seeing the double barrel pop up? Just me? Also absolutely stoked to use the RAAL LMG (or whatever they call it now). Can't wait to hear the hammer and nails sound of dumping the mag

I like how for both 5.45x39 AK variants the operator takes a minute to admire the weapon. It’s almost like they’re telling the player: “Yes we finally modeled the AKS-74U correctly for once”
The inspect animations are by far the best compare to MW2019 and very big improvements to them too. By far, the magnum revolver is literally has the best inspect animation ever made and I believe that could be a reference to an old game that I remember but just forgot the name of it 5:24
For a future attention to detail video: Weapons like Expedite and Lockwood doesn't have a unique inspection when the weapons are empty; a round/shell will still eject from the weapon during the animation
The only problem i have with the gun details, is that they look less used. Like you can't see scratches or marks on them indicating it has been used for a while. MW 2019 had this feature and looked great. I wished this had been done in this game.
