I'm more impressed he just straight up puts the cap on. You have to use finesse to secure it on the nipple, or easier to get a cap holder.
If u can rotate the camera and see from the front, the animation shows a Paper cartridge being loaded on the front, which in late 1890s would make perfect sense.

Is it me or is the evans repeating rifle the most satisfying reloading animation. That constant cocking of the lever when you insert a cartridge into the end of the rifle stock just make me go like ✋😞👌
It's very accurate to the real gun, too. The actual Evans uses a manual Conveyor system set up in a helical pattern that starts at the rear of the rifle and moves to the chamber. In order to load it fully you have to load a shell and then cycle the lever over and over, which pushes the rounds forward on their tracks to the front of the rifle. It's a very interesting system compared to the magazine tubes found on most repeating weapons used at that time.
@Christopher Santibanez Yeah! the Rifles were patented and built by a man named Warren R. Evans, who was actually a dentist. Him and his brother originally designed the rifles for the US Military but it failed the standard Dust Test. The Loading system was probably the most unique bit of it, but it also had the Hammer on the bottom as well, sitting behind the rifle's Lever. All in all, a very odd gun.
@@christophersantibanez3489 yeah but just because the design is creative doesn't mean it's necessarily better. In the case of the Evans, it had a great capacity, but reloads took a very long time. Actually the gun was pretty much antiquated and obsolete by 1899, production formally ended back in 1879. That said, some 15,000 rifles were produced and some survived until today. That's more than can be said for a lot of smaller weapons manufacturers.
In RDR 2: all weapons in 3 minutes In reallife: Me: hey hey hold on a second, I gotta reload.... 2 hours later, Enemy: can we just, like do the rest of the fight tomorrow, Or you're done already? Me: There...I got the first bullet in the magazine. Enemy: yaaaaaayy👏👏👏👏🎆
Fun fact, to fully reload the shotgun, the user has to push the base switch by the hammers to to the side in order to unlock the barrels. Which I noticed most games don't animate the hands to do.

@@secondpath5148 i miss the wacky and creative guns of old. Interesting to see how they work
@@christophersantibanez3489 yeah but just because the design is creative doesn't mean it's necessarily better.
"Hey, what's that up there?"
"Oh him. Yea, he comes here every Sunday to reload some guns of his. He's a good guy, don't worry"

Go educate yourself, unfunny and ignorant.

In RDR 2: all weapons in 3 minutes
In reallife: Me: hey hey hold on a second, I gotta reload....
2 hours later, Enemy: can we just, like do the rest of the fight tomorrow, Or you're done already?
Me: There...I got the first bullet in the magazine.
Enemy: yaaaaaayy👏👏👏👏🎆

@@datpotatoes4005 thanks.🙏🏻 have fun.
Fun fact, to fully reload the shotgun, the user has to push the base switch by the hammers to to the side in order to unlock the barrels. Which I noticed most games don't animate the hands to do.

"i got a plan john"
"you always got a plan dutch"
"this one is a good one"
I dont doubt it
Imagine just driving your car down the road and you just see a guy in the air reloading guns
I'm pretty sure he was on a water tower
*wagon
I appreciate that Rockstar made all those absolutely ridiculous duel wield animations
0:39 I’m sorry, but did he just pulled out a mag out of nowhere??? 😱
No. Play that part at 0.25x speed. He has a mag in his hand
