That was one of the heaviest ones for me. A Delta squad holding back the tide. Running out of ammo and swapping to their sidearms. Pretty sure at one point one of them gets a melee kill.

The cinematic deaths are some of the best parts of these games. If it's one thing that remains high quality with CoD, it's definitely the character deaths.
3:53 was probably the most terrifying death. Imagine dying in space where nobody will ever find you. You'll quite literally be floating around forever.
Out of all the Call Of Duty games I've played, Call Of Duty 3 will forever remain my favourite. The story is an absolute masterpiece. Whoever hasn't played it or hasn't heard of it, they're missing out.
Dixon was my first favorite character to die in any game or movie. he hit me hard. but I remember fondly Guzzo's development as the squads outcast to him rising to lead us throughout the rest of that horrifying battle. and Huxley? hell, the war changed the man. better or worse, I believe he became Guzzo's second, and the two, alongside Nickels, completely destroyed the Kraut war machine.
How dare anyone forget Brooklyn in Big Red One. Dude was trying to clear a path through barbed wire and ate some artillery trying to tell the others to get away from the explosions.
And Vic from that game, plus Sgt. Hawkins since he had 2-3 near death experiences with the last having you watch him get driven away by medics; leaving you and a few others to lead the squad.
Advanced warfare still looks incredible 10 years later. If I didn't know shit about call of duty and you told me it came out like, 2 years ago I'd believe it
More than half of these remind me of that quote from Free State of Jones. “He died with honor.” “No, Will, he just died.” Not many of these deaths are heroic by any stretch of the imagination, they’re tragic.
To think that I have not played a single Call of Duty campaign since Black Ops one. These stories are so well written, and the deaths of important characters really feels like a punsch to the gut.
SAT1 got the most saddest and scariest death ever in COD MW Series, flying into the darkness of space, lonely, no food or water, forgotten by everyone except his family, where his body goes is unknown, we don't know if he's alive or not, it's just sad...
COD is probably the only franchise that actually had you go through the holocaust camps like they did in COD WW2 at the end of the game. That alone was a heroic moment.
Park was canonly alive, and if she dies it was non-cannon, but lazar is canonly dead, and if he's alive it was non-cannon, because season 2 of cold war it shows park was there alive and well alongside with woods finding adler to rescue him from stitch if you remember it guys!
They made some of the deaths in MW2 Remastered so much more cinematic/impactful, like you can hear the astronaut's heart rate rising and his breathing get heavier as he realizes he's about to die. And Roach grabbing onto Shepherd's arm almost like he's saying "...why did you do this?"
9:18 - Lol, I remember my college days when one of my college blockmates wherein after taking the subject for the 2nd time, has failed and had to retake it for the 3rd time.
The hardest deaths for me were Soap, Ethan, and Dmitri. What saddened me about Dmitri’s death the most is that after all he did for his country he wasn’t even honored after the battle he was shipped off to Siberia where he died for nothing.
The death scene with ghost and roach I remember so vividly. Not because it was a memorable scene but because when I was a kid I died in that mission so many times. Took me two hours just to get to the landing zone just for me to get shot and die either way, I was so mad bro
The top down shot of Turner in the mud as the enemies advance past him was the real gut shot. He was the nicest guy around (besides the murder 😂), but fr, makes you remember you're killing personalities just like his in the war.
For me, aw was such a underrated game. The cutscenes were like you're watching a movie. Great characters, and missions my favorite missions are when you kill Hades, the drone part was awesome, and when you infiltrate Irons house

9:08 we know for years Victor Reznov as been dead for years but BO6 in in a week we need to wait for clarification to see if Reznow really died because we’re going back to Vorkuta in bo6 there is a map for that
I’m gonna say it Kashima probably hit me the hardest out of any death in COD. He is the biggest slept on character in COD for me. The combination of his attempt to keep things light hearted and positive to the end while you can slowly feel his heartbeat fade through the vibration of the controller was actually the first time COD actually got an emotional reaction to a death from me besides Soap in the OG MW3. I’m gonna say it and don’t think I didn’t care about him but I think Kashima had a much sadder death then Ethan.
Glad to see COD3 still gets some love here. Although I know I'd sound like a whiner, I'll never forget Big Red One's squad deaths. Two of them hit me hard. Vic Denley, killed by a machine gun fire behind a door he's about to kick. And Brooklyn, killed by a mortar round at the final mission.
I enjoyed the dynamic of MW2/3's contractors. The little conversations you saw gave them personality compared to the original MW2. The mission where you play as Shadow Company PMC's really showed us they were just military dudes as well as our characters. I liked it, even though it was more of an interactable cutscene. Graves had some of the best swagger, and honestly I'm glad there was a position to bring him back with the tension caused. Was not a fan of MW3's campaign but it was interesting nonetheless.
