Just found your channel and love it. Have subscribed. I'm currently knitting the 1940's two tone leaf sweater. Stuck on rib island atm.

Keep going on rib island. Even just 30 minutes a day will get it finished @waywardsister8367. Enjoy the 1940s two tone leaf sweater it is stunning if it is the one I know. Thank you so much for the lovely comments.

Hello...I have just found your wonderful podcast....I do collect Stitchcraft magazines from the 30's, 40's and a few from the 50's. I myself used to buy Stitchcraft in the 70's so I have a few of those. Reading through Stitchcraft connects me somehow with my Mother who was a great knitter too....I imagine how her life must have been during the War with so much loss, terror and deprivation and yet still knitting these intricate woollies. I think that some of my baby cardigans came from Stitchcraft magazines. So for me they mean so much more than a few dusty old paper pages....and I do occasionally embroider or knit the patterns.

Hi love your podcasts very informative. Agree some rare patterns are selling for huge prices but have you thought that the people buying them will probably be selling copies so they will get their money back and more!!! ?

I agree a lot are bought to resale as pdfs but the cloak should still be under copyright. Glad you enjoy the videos.
