    Prices keep going up and quality keeps going down. Great tutorial.

    Sideshow and Iron Studios need to beware of this. You might want to send pictures to Sideshow and see if they will replace. Iron Studios I bought a sculpture and it was missing polystone and break even. They sent me a replacement I had to pay 1/2 shipping but it was a $1000 Harry Potter Sculpture.
    Love this video. I would use spray foam in both pieces and polystone. GREAT JOB ON THIS VIDEO.

    Silly putty is good to use on seams and holes to block liquid resin from leaking

    good result. I did some kind of the same with the hollow Sideshow Thanos statue... Did nearly the same like you did but I also used 5 minutes 2K Epoxy at the metal rod-pins inside so the pins got a good attach to the Epoxy and the areas around it. Also made it easier to secure the position quite fast. This way I only got to used quite flew instand glue at the edges of the broken part and not so much like you did. But I think both ways are good for the result. Nice you safe another victim. Good job bro!

    Nice job! I was wondering how I could fix broken tips on horns? I do not have the missing pieces.

      You can add a rod into the broken part and use Aves Epoxy sculpt to rebuild it and then repaint. This batman ear video is pretty much same thing just have to do it for the horns.

    What is that red material you used to fill the gap in the cracked areas? that was important too.... some of our statues might not be brocken but might have fissures, and no idea how to fix tem...

      It's called Aves epoxy sculpt, you mix A and B together and have a 3 hour work time and in 8 hours hard as rock. It's red just cause I like to use that color over my grey primer customs. You can see all the products and colors here avesstudio.com

      I have a problem with a statue...actually I haven't seen a video about it anywhere... probably a good idea for you, BUT...Prime 1 Studios sent me a statue and it has a fissure in the leg, it's the key leg of a dinosaur, the fissure goes around the leg (making a full circle), and it's almost impossible to see it, unless you take a very close picture, but I found this fissure because there is a point of about 2 cm at the top where the slight fissure is wider, wide enough for a piece of paper to enter to 0.7 cm deep until it stops (wich is great because it means the inside is solid :), since I had no one to ask about it, I asked to the AI, and it said that since it is not broken, and the pieze is solid (it doesn't separate) I should not try to repair ir, but I should keep and eye on it in case the gap becomes larger, I still would like to cover the larger gap so I searched for videos, found this one, and I thought this red material could work to hide it, the problem is that the red is so intense that I might have issues latter on trying to paint it the right color tone and I might make it more noticeable that what it is right now (only seen at close inspection), is there a way to find something that helps covering fissures? options? transmparent materials or even an acid that mixes fissures LOL............... I bought this statue on Ebay, brand new directly from Prime 1 Studios (released this year) but since I bought it using a third party company, I'm not sure if even attempt to make a claim, because the Statue is brand new and this company got it one day, and ship it to me the next... so I do not feel they are responsible but Prime 1 or the carrier... also if I make a claim they might request it back before deciding on replacing it and in the shipping back... it might break worst and there is no warrante that a new statue will arrive intect... LOL, so Idecided to keep it and not make a big issue out of a fissure, what do you think?

      Hard to say whats going on, would have to use my web sites contact page hit me up and then we can get pics to me and see if I can help. But Aves makes other coolers but all of aves is easy to paint over and match colors,

    Nice job.
    What paint brands would you recommend for painting resin statues?

    • @VinceVellCUSTOMS
      @VinceVellCUSTOMS  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      depends on what you like to work with, I only use acrylics but I use all brands, Vallejo, Tamiya, Windsor Newton etc. cause im at the point not where I know which color from which brand I like to work with and what going on smoothy. I do use enamels and laqours too when I can for specific paints.
