    I like how Mark tailors his comments and questions in a way that an articulate 11-year-old could understand. Using words like "Instagram" and "TH-cam" instead of digital marketing, and asking "Where do you see yourself 2 years, 5 years from now?"

    Mark has emotional attachments to smart young entrepreneurs, and I feel he genuinely wanted to help. Sometimes, he does that, not because of business aspirations.
    He's hurt, but not because of the business side of the deal. It's about not getting the opportunity to work with and help develop this young talent.

    I appreciate the help and respect from the sharks. The mother did an absolutely fantastic job making sure the very fine details were heard and that her son had a friend not a mom.     Keep in mind here, Richard Branson is worth over $3.5 billion. The richest shark in history, if I'm not mistaken. He see's a lot of himself with this kid's vision so I feel like he was the best choice - he has nothing substantial to lose even making a wildly generous deal.

    I think Roberts deal might be the best for him. Get to scale, get an investment for way less equity (or more money) down the line. He is doing well and doesnt need to give up 20%. I would guess robert would still help him out even though he has no equity.

    This kids got an insanely good chance to go big. He's playing off something that's already wildly popular, by introducing a new iteration targeted at a specific age group. By skaters in school, for skaters in school. It's a convenience, and I know a lot of my buddies would've bought into this if it was around when they were in school.

    I think when the sharks see someone that’s hip and cool to them they go wild for the deal. Almost like it’ll get their cool factor back or youth. Robert especially loves the cool factors.

    Kids with business get too much credit when most aren't even doing it without their parents. He's not paying the internet, didn't pay for his computer or printers. It's an investment from the parents for sure.
