OH this looks so great, Amy! I’ve known for a long time, using the blow drier for fluffing the coat while combing out/brushing after the drying is the best kept secret to a sparkling flufffy coat!
Only have known for a long time because I’ve got a close relationship with my dogs’ groomer for so many years.

Wow, I was just watching this product and reviews on Amazon, it is much more affordable than what I find locally here, in Romania, Eastern part of Europe, although we are part of European Union. Besides the transformer I'll need for the american plugging system to European one, and also how warranty would apply to my country, I was wondering if you could live show us how you train a puppy/dog to get used to a dryer like this? One that has never seen any drier in his life :) I have a very young and cute newfoundland dog and want to give him the best experience about grooming. I kept watching videos, but alll are about dogs already trained to grooming (drying especially, for bathing I don't worry with my newf :) ) Many thanks for all the info and advice you share with us!

i have a goldendoodle and we have been using an old hair dryer for her since she was a puppy with 3-4 inch hair, it was fine at the start because she didnt get that dirty but now that shes bigger and gets dirty more often, we've noticed that this is a time saver
did you buy it? and if you did, does it work well with your dogs coat?

How loud is it ?
@@PrettyGoodLookin about as loud as a vacuum. It has a lot of power and it also has heat if you want to use that option, it can be toggled off. I’m glad I bought it.

@@rebeccalightfoot6753 it’s holding up great. It is a very sturdy machine. It has a warmer so you can heat the air if you want. The only downside is that it’s kind of loud which would be with most any dryers at this price point. I have three doodles and they are just mostly annoyed with the noise but they accept it just fine. Hope this helps.

I'm deciding whether or not I should get this. Is it still working well for you? Some reviews say it broke on the third use. Other reviews say it is way to loud. What are your thoughts after using it for a while?
You should ask for a fee hahaha this one convinced me to get one and received it yesterday, it got my dogthier dry in about 15-20 mins...might not sound impressive but she is an akita..... with a very thick double coated and heavy shredding.. and I didn’t even went to full power!!! The low power was quite silent but full power did make a bit of noise that’s the only down size cause not everyone can use it in a open room or exterior, but besides that it was great, thanks for the review
I bought this. My toy poodle has to get used to it. I used my hair dryer before. Took me 30-40mins. This took me under 10 mins. And if I could get it near her, in 5. I had it on low, lots of treats, praise and 2-3ft away. Not bad for 1st time. I got her to sit on me, and had it a 8" away too. Next time, I'll use the ear cover.
Use it in low and start near the back of the dog so he can process it.
I purchased slowly.....almost everything from Amy's recommendations over time. SHERNBAO....this guy rocks. And brushes aren't all the same.( me thinking that back in the day). Ok Amy, I purchased the scissors from a different source but it was an outlet that deals with groomers, not Amazon or a pet store so they are good and they sharpen on site!!! The difference quality products make ladies is the game changer. I pack up my groom room even to bring to the cabin. We can't afford the washing station but that is ok. Most people can't either! Lol. Thank you Amy! Thank you! #1 most important thing to me is a groom table with a proper (Strong)arm. Changes the dog's attitude and yours.

I have a husky who does not like loud noises. Is this quiet? He doesnt like being brushed at all but I have to have something to get rid of his shedding.
My Australian Shepherd has a heavy undercoat. What is a good shampoo to help get that undercoat out. A groomer used a special shampoo and charged me extra. I didn't think to ask her what it was.
Is there a dryer that's better suited for Pomeranians with sensitive hearing? I see it has variable speeds but wonder regardless since construction makes a big difference and just not sure.

Ayyyyeeee I got that one a year ago. It really is a great dryer. Not anything like the k9II but honestly those are almost TOO MUCH especially with the noise.

Thanks for showing this. I've been looking at all the dryers online and just don't know what's good or bad, loud or quiet. I don't want to spend $300 but was afraid the cheaper ones would be cheap quality. The ones I looked at in this price range were only 2 HP, but this one is 4...for same price. I'm a little concerned about the noise. When you cranked it up to full speed I could hear that high pitched classic dryer noise. We can wear hearing protection but the dogs can't and their hearing is so much better than ours.

I bought one similar to this off Amazon, a Voilamart 2800 for only £51. It has high and low heat and variable speed and 3 nozzles. I cant fault it for the price. I would really love to see a video of drying with one as Im never sure about heat, angles, nozzles to use i=on my doodles and I need help with fluff drying. My groomer told me that too close could cause injury. Help , Go Groomer! x

That dryer pulls 29 amps on high so would need its own dedicated high amperage circuit which is expensive to have installed. Bit of a deal-breaker.

Could you do a video with this dryer and not talk so we can hear how loud or quiet it is. My husky hates loud noises, doesn't allow me to brush him out but I need something to deshed him. I'm actually stressed with the excessive shedding and cant brush him as he gets very aggressive with it.

Try using a happy hoodie and start near his rear. Always keep your other hand on the dog under his belly. Comforting.

I bought this and coming from a pet shop the lack of heat is disappointing. It takes excess time even on my Maltese…it needs a bit more. Everything else that is said is good including the price.
I thought this was a scam, because a standard outlet can only deliver 1,800 W. This is because even though your household outlet can only deliver 1,800 W, the unit compresses air, even when you're not using it, as long as it's still plugged in the outlet. If you open the box, plug it in and immediately try to use it, no, it won't deliver 3,200 W. That's impossible. You have to wait for the air tank to compress some air. The air tank is storing energy in the form of compressed air (instead of batteries), so it can deliver 3,200 W when you want to use it, as long as you wait enough time for it to compress some air first.

I hope this one is built safe. I bought a different version, but it sure looks similar. The insides were frankly, pretty scary from an electrical safety standpoint. I’m an electronic engineer. Loose wires, including a loose chassis ground wire. That was the big one as it could electrocute someone using it. I may fix the one I have to make it safe, or buy a different one. Just be aware there are some thinks out there, the one I bought was from China, that are not built to any type of electrical safety standards. The one I bought was shipped here from China. You would think there is some safety requirements for imported goods, but there are loop holes.

Amy should I use the heat setting on my Goldendoodles? I was told not to do that but maybe that is why it takes an hour to even partially dry one.

It does not take 12 minutes to dry a goldendoodle, I have the same dryer it takes me 40 minutes
Shampoo, conditioner, brushing has a lot to do with how fast your dog will dry. Sealing the hair cuticles with conditioner is a true secret and better for the skin and coat anyway. Maybe that’s the difference between how long it takes me to dry a dog and how long it takes you to dry your dog 🤷♀️
