  • For many of my graduates and users of the O+P Digital Designer Academy, learning zbrush was always a tall order, even though the piece of the puzzle in digital O&P workflows that it solved was very small. Many practitioners today already have modification software available to them, so because of this I am excited to show you how to create quad meshes inside of Fusion 360 directly from your own modified 3d scans, without using zbrush at all to create the result!
With this solution its never been this easy getting into digital design workflows in O&P applications. Start your journey today at www.oandpdigitaldesigner.com

    - FUN FACT: Autodesk (makers of 'Fusion 360') own the MeshMixer technology - and in fact, it is incorporated into the 'MESH workspace' of F360! Not sure why 'Smooth Boundary' is not implemented, but seems it could be. Hm?...

Pretty cool workflow! At the bottom of the tool the button you clicked said "convert to BREP". If you had the other options toggled in the dialog would it make a faceted surface body? Also do you have the PDE active in Fusion? I would be curious how the organic conversion of the same mesh using the Product Design Extension stacks up with something like this.
