All you tuber showing this and comments are filled with same problem that the product reflects in all categories but no one has provided solution to this
If you want to remove a product from a page, for example the home page of your website. Go to products, collections, select the collection you want to remove a product from. In this case it would be the home page. Then press the x to remove the product from that specific page. While you’re in the collections you can also create new collections that can then be linked to categories and sub categories that you create in navigation.
I did like you showed and after created another category ( like your supply example) but then it also shows "snowboards" collection and when I change that and save - my "snowboard" collection also changes for "supply". The question is how to differentiate the featured collections for different pages ? Thank you
I Am experiencing the same issue. The products are showing in all of my categories. He also didn't show that we have to create the collection before even doing all of this. Hopefully they reply to help resolve this issue.
bug fixes: once categorized and it wont let you click it, its because you have to put them in collections if its multiple fields for example: Categories = default page -watch its correct if you see (add menu item to watch) *to place categories go under categories and swipe right) once saved create a collection for each category then place the category within its collection example Categories -watches = ( place in watch collection) - boots = ( place in boots collection) If yall need a video let me know !
It seems that "Categories" in Shopify are called "Collections". I'm not sure why Shopify made it this way but when you create a Collection, you're basically creating a Category
not a good video… you should understand that you are teaching people who have no idea about this issue, this is a wrong way of teaching.. you are explaining it as you are talking to yourself
