For now, note that to sync your shop with Meta (Facebook and Instagram), you will need to do so via the Shopify sales channels. You will find this in the bottom left in your Shopify dashboard menu. Once the shop has been activated and synced, you can make manual edits through Meta's commerce manager. You should not and will not be able to edit anything in the Instagram and Facebook apps themselves, only through Meta's Commerce Manager on desktop. Hope this helps for now! To not have too many items in your menu, I recommend adding only a few main items and then adding subitems to those. You can do this by drag and dropping in your navigation menu settings. To remove the "Powered by Shopify" message from your Shopify store, you can follow these steps: 1. Log in to your Shopify admin panel. 2. Click on "Online Store" in the left-hand menu. 3. Select "Themes" from the submenu. 4. In the "Themes" section, you will see your currently active theme. Click on the "Actions" button next 5. to it and choose "Edit code" from the dropdown menu. 6. In the code editor, locate the "Sections" folder and expand it. 7. Look for a file named "footer.liquid" or "theme.liquid" in the "Sections" folder. Note that the exact file name may vary depending on your theme. 8. Click on the file to open it in the editor. 9. Search for the phrase "Powered by Shopify" or something similar within the code. 10. Once you find the code related to the message, you can delete or modify it according to your preferences. 11. After making the necessary changes, click on the "Save" button to save your modifications. Note that modifying your theme's code requires some technical knowledge, and any changes you make should be done with caution. It's always recommended to create a backup of your theme before making any modifications, so you can revert to the original version if needed.

Hey Paty! For the hovering to work, you have to make sure the Inspector button is activated. In the theme editor, it's located in the center of the top bar, next to the page selector. It's a dotted square with a cursor symbol! Just click that and it should work. Best of luck!

I dont know if i missed it but did you go over the taxes and duties?? Also how do i add free shipping on orders over a $100??
Hey! I did not go over taxes and duties in this vide as this will vary for everyone depending on their location. I recommend checking with your local regulations to see if you have to register your business right away, or if there is a number in revenue you can reach before that is mandatory. Now to add free shipping over $100, you can create a shipping discount, and set the conditions to only make this discount available on orders above $100. Here's how:
- From your Shopify dashboard, go to 'Discounts' on the side menu
- Click on 'Create Discount'
- Click on 'Free shipping discount'
-In the first part, select 'Automatic Discount'
- Name your discount (this is what will appear to customers during checkout, next to the price reduction)
- Select your countries / availability
- Under 'Minimum Purchase Requirements' set $100 on 'minimum purchase amount'
- Click on 'Save Discount' and make sure it's active

I am a photographer and watercolor artist, I enjoyed your tutorial very much, it simple and easy yo understand. I have two questions, I am in ht middle of making collection for photographs and watercolor arts. Whne I upload files to make product list what is the sizes of the files need to be? I had square space and Etcy account but I didn't get a good result do I stopped using both of them.

For now, note that to sync your shop with Meta (Facebook and Instagram), you will need to do so via the Shopify sales channels. You will find this in the bottom left in your Shopify dashboard menu.
Once the shop has been activated and synced, you can make manual edits through Meta's commerce manager. You should not and will not be able to edit anything in the Instagram and Facebook apps themselves, only through Meta's Commerce Manager on desktop. Hope this helps for now! amazing video, my only problem i had which wasnt your fault at all, for some reason the "about us page" section wouldnt let me view it, it said visible till 12am maybe i had to wait idk, but im kinda of stuck in that section
Hey, thank you so much! Without much more info on your issue, I'm not sure what exactly is causing this, but you can try accessing the About Us page directly from the theme editor and see if this changes:
- Open your theme editor as usual (Online Store > Themes > Customize)
- On the top center of the screen, you'll see the name of the current page you are viewing. This will typically be the Home Page at first.
- To view the About Us page, or any other page, click on this title and selected the page you'd like to view!
- The page will open up and you can now customize it to your liking.

To not have too many items in your menu, I recommend adding only a few main items and then adding subitems to those. You can do this by drag and dropping in your navigation menu settings. Useful. Also reminds people to remove the 'powered by Shopify' off their shop
To remove the "Powered by Shopify" message from your Shopify store, you can follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Shopify admin panel.
2. Click on "Online Store" in the left-hand menu.
3. Select "Themes" from the submenu.
4. In the "Themes" section, you will see your currently active theme. Click on the "Actions" button next 5. to it and choose "Edit code" from the dropdown menu.
6. In the code editor, locate the "Sections" folder and expand it.
7. Look for a file named "footer.liquid" or "theme.liquid" in the "Sections" folder. Note that the exact file name may vary depending on your theme.
8. Click on the file to open it in the editor.
9. Search for the phrase "Powered by Shopify" or something similar within the code.
10. Once you find the code related to the message, you can delete or modify it according to your preferences.
11. After making the necessary changes, click on the "Save" button to save your modifications.
Note that modifying your theme's code requires some technical knowledge, and any changes you make should be done with caution. It's always recommended to create a backup of your theme before making any modifications, so you can revert to the original version if needed.
