If we called off games in NZ due to some rain, we would never play.
I remember playing in a game where the mud was so bad we couldn’t see the lines lol
Notice we play better than most on wet ground.
We had a couple games where the ref would blow a scrum at any ruck longer than 5 seconds. The puddles were deep enough to drown in 😅
Haven't had a wet game all year
Had one game called off in NZ we got to the ground and it had water like this over it. Because we hated each other they said it was wise to call it off so we didn't kill each other and that was early 90s. But in this day and age grounds should have good drainage seems like the drainage system couldn't keep up with this one. Hopefully South Africa rugby will sort it out with the field being named after a famous Springbok
AB’s U20 forward pack are very much improved this year, the captain is World Class.
Against Spain, yes. The game against France was a different story.
@@elephunknz7711they still won,thats the point
@@elephunknz7711 France are reigning under 20 world champs, the win over them was very impressive.
@@elephunknz7711horrendous take, they literally pushed France off their own feed and scored
@@elephunknz7711 didn't they push the French scrum all the way back to the score line and scored? Am I missing something?
Once in a life the Spanish national team will play with NZ.... And the game was suspended due heavy rain 😅 that's I call it bad luck
Would’ve been a privilege for them to play against a great rugby nations, too bad South African weather ruined😢😂
@@Waks23 yes, and the worst thing it's most probably this Spanish guys never again will play against NZ...
A shame
Why newzealand is tier 2 now so just getting familiar with future opposition. 😂😂😂
@@michaelmoynihan9591 nah it's not, the kids will grow up and there are no chance to play main national team and even they play.... No further match with NZ can be.
@@michaelmoynihan9591 the all blacks will always and forever be a tier 1 rugby nation🤷🏾♂️😌
Whoa. The talent on show and keeping the composure and work ethic in those conditions. Great stuff. Well done lads.
That rain came down pretty hard! Great performance from both NZ and Spain. Love from Canada, aspiring to live in NZ! 🇨🇦🤍🇳🇿🤍🇪🇸
these young fellas show some frigging awesum structure, positioning in rucks ,support and team work in conditions ... scouts will be out
11 turned 19 years old on game day. A great talent.
One of thoe most historic stadiums in south Africa. literally 17 people in the stands
Good effort guys, players from both teams and officials
Great to see countries where Rugby is not their national sport playing the way they do. I’ve heard Malta has a pretty good side also.
😂😂😂😂😂
Again the fields are a disaster, why play here?? Same thing happened previously, playing in the mud. Embarrassing for South Africa. Danie Craven would be ashamed. Drainage FFS???
Prestigious Stadium but shocking field condition
Sideline cameras unprepared as well.
The only thing I could put down too Was the drainage system couldn't keep up. After all the field was named after a famous Springbok hopefully South Africa Rugby will put some money into getting it fixed.
This Cape town weather makes New Zealand look like a desert
Hahaha. I've played in games in NZ where we walked off the field weighing twice our normal weight with the mud on us.
@@aaronclair4301 We love a good mud wrestle in NZ perhaps a couple of times each year.
solid win boys
Good last try by the Birthday 🎂 boy.
4:30 that's filthy!!!
digusting. Shouldve been a card. That poor child he killed has 4 semesters left of college
❤beautiful
Really like Joel Stransky's expert comments and interviews. Even the commentary in the international games specially the Boks v ABs. Very respectful
Bason brothers will be havoc for the future!
Well done boy in black
English or spanish?
France going to be hard in the semis
Gg boys
Have you seen conditions like this before?
Wetter than a Nun’s gloves
Yeah in fact I played in it💧🌧️🌊
Yeah, last years U20s WC in….. South Africa. Also that game in Luatoka this season was worse.
You ever been to waiouru 😂
@keza41 you meant to write Lautoka
The awe brax 😂
New Zealand weather
Did they only play one half because of the rain
Yes, it was to protect the surface
Bit strange saying it’s too dangerous but playing to half time so it is an official result. It’s either dangerous or it’s not
They are not the All Blacks. This intentional dilution by the commentators is purposefully lazy. Call teams by name.
Keep crying
@@kaichi3349 he's not crying,yopu grip,he's merely making a valid point.
He called them New Zealand that’s what we are 🤫🤫🤫
Who cares. We all know the difference.
Im from NZ they are NOT the AB's.
but your from nzl beside the fact your getting mud in your eyes aha tell falla hasn't played in them wet conditions
Since when did rain ever call a rugby match off. Watch All-black v Scotland eden park in 1975, is you want to see water
ooooooooooo come on : rain, hail, shine, snow u keep on playing......... WIMPS
😆👍👍👍👍👍
in new zealand, when youre getting smashed 80 - nil at halftime, we play the second half like its nil all. we dont give up at half time, thats fuckin weak!
It got called off due to weather
If it's called off it's called off. Simple as that
The aotearoa were lucky.the Spainish would have won.
@@michaelmoynihan9591😂
A
Only 1 half?
called off because of heavy rain
Conditions were to sketchy.
Did you even bother to watch the whole vid before commenting?
Yes, at the request of the Spanish.😁
And fair enough honestly. Keeping your footing on a turf like that is too difficult and could lead to serious leg injuries and to be fair the game was won so let sensibility rain 🌧️
Stop having games in SA ffs
English
The Spanish team is doing much better than South Africa’s B team: Netherlands and South Africa’s C team: Germany (Afrikaners ancestors).
Moist
Hardly a Whitewash.
He was talking about the line.
@@barneyboy2008 No,he said they are trying to avoid a Whitewash.
@@Andy_M986I mean they only played 1 half
Spain should focus on Football where they are ONE OF THE BEST or focus on SEVEN'S RUGBY... if Spain can't beat England/Scotland/Wales/Ireland/Italy then no point joining all this junior competition; USA Men's and Women's is better then their 15 a side.. maybe Spain should be doing that too
We (NZ ) suck at soccer yet we still play..give the Spanish a break.
@@user-eq9jv5uf7d even in SEVEN'S they are the whipping boys; if it's not your sports; stay in your lane that you are good at; NZ is decent to be in WC in a good day and possibly the next WC cos of the expended teams. :)
That's what people have said about Vanuatu, Fiji and New Caledonia in the Oceania Cup. And they have beaten the All Whites. Gotta start somewhere, bro 🤷♂
They’re still a young rugby country
@@Waks23 I like your enthusiasm but if Spain improve; top tier will also improve so their target is never achievable (if getting to the Rugby World Cup is their target within 6 years then it's an achievable target) - if winning the Rugby World Cup in 20 years is like asking pigs to fly :)
and I do know Spain is still a young but they are a tier below the Tier 1 team in Europe.. if they beat Georgia consistently then I will say they are better then Georgia :P
