Yes. He's imperious when he's on song. And he's so hard to crack when he's hitting his doubles. My personal opinion its due to age as he relys on a specific movement in his throw and Im noticing distinct differences between Mvgs throw last decade to his throw in the last year whereas you see the likes of Anderson still going strong in his 50s and Wade in his late 40s due to the simple nature of their throws.
Wow that was exciting! Van Gerwen kind of gve it away though. I dont think ive ever seen him so bad on his doubles.
One of the great Matchplay finals. Van Gerwen came on so strong near the end of that match and would have beaten anyone else
Nice that Humphries won...😉💥🙏🙏🙏
Marching On Luke 👍👍
I MISSED IT BECAUSE I HAD TO BE ON THE ROAD 😢😢😢! First tournament I’ve not tuned into all year.😢
Thank god Luke H won... MVG's attitude this week has been disrespectful & OTT.
Always has been. Way ott considering he's never even defended a world title
Agreed Shrek is sll mouth nowadays. He's not the top banana now but thinks he still is !
@@robertstephen7140 there is a reason, they call him "Darting Voldemort"
@@KingJohnson1985
Ha ha 😂
12:55 and 15:30 could have been game changers
Brilliant 👍 we are Leeds 👍❤️
What a final... one of the best.. Cheering for Mvg.. But congrats to Luke cool hand... Breaking and coming back again and again... Mcg missed many chances. but again what a final
Peter Wright is 54 now and considered as "washed". Phil Taylor however
has beaten prime Adrian Lewis in 2013 with a whopping 111+ average at the age of 53.
Humphries and Van Gerwen would´ve been crushed by an old Taylor.
And people are still saying Van Gerwen is better than Taylor
who dominated this tournament for 3 consecutive decades!
They can all be happy that Taylor already retired.
Ok Phil, get back in your touchy caravan
Chill out man
Luke is at Phil's level
@@BarryDeiter lol Phil used to win this tournament with a 105 tournament average and 105-110 averages in the final. Humphries is brilliant but nowhere near Taylor.
Who cares what Taylor did, he's a boring old fart now.
The best of Phil Taylor would win this match easily
Not just Taylor but Mvg, Anderson, Lewis, Barney, Wright list goes on😂
you are a poor lad living in the past ......with a poor living conscious standard i guess . Stay on your couch taking meds ....thats all u can achieve anyway
Yet they'd have you believe the standard was getting better. More depth, perhaps, but definitely not better. But they have a product to sell, and most people are gullible ! 🐏
@@josephahiggins5920 The overall standard is in terms of top 64 and 128. Stats tell you that. However, where people get mixed up are prime Mvg, Taylor, Ando, barney etc are levels above a Littler or a Micheal Smith. Humphries is getting their but needs more titles before he’s in that conversation and his averages still don’t get near the guys Ive already mentioned in their primes
@boom4301 That's depth, not standard. Are the no1 and 2 better - no. Are the top 8 better - no. The top 128 are - that's depth. You're just confirming what i said. The standard has not increased, it's got deeper.
Incredible
I am standing ❤
so pleased find van very aggorant
he is arrogant...which is why i dont like that guy as well
