About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

What a terrifying character, even in a sitcom like that, he manages to stand out.
Why shouldn't he stand out ?
Damn, I just read the actor passed
😢
You mean Tackleberry?
@steverogerwhat de he croak from throat cancer or booty cancer.s7601
I mean, there weren’t that many terrifying characters on the show right?
RIP Peter Crombie. You played “Crazy” Joe Devola to perfection.
Why wouldn’t he play him to perfection?
Wow, that guy died not even 2 weeks ago
@@AvyScottandFlower ok.. and??
@@mikeg1378 It's a stark reminder, that's all.
It’s not Devola
“You’re in no obligation to shake my hand..”😂😂😂 Crazy Joe DaVola
Course not
🫶
Just a custom
My dad and I have quoted, "You know, a muffin can be very filling" for decades
same :)
I can’t look at a muffin now without thinking of that scene
Even Kramer is scared of Joe Davola 🤣
With good reason…
Thats one crazy guy scaring another crazy guy.
That's saying something
"you went to karate, right?"
"Why, you want to hit me?"
😂😂
*you into
@@gutter339 I think it's "You do the karate, right?"
I like how Davola initiates the whole interaction then acts completely put upon by it
Why shouldn't you like it?
Crazy right?
😂😂
You've betrayed me with another haven't you Nedda ? What's his name ? I want to know his name.
"Give my best to Hinckley" 🤣🤣🤣
"You look good!"
"Why shouldn't I look good?"¨
Peter Crombie did an amazing job playing Joe Davola.
And Jerry I agree, a muffin can be very filling!
Why shouldn't he have done a good job?
Yet they ordered muffin, sandwich, and coffee
@@sstills951 What’s the deal with lampshades? I mean if it’s a lamp, why do you want shade?
Especially Costco muffins
The fact Newman knows Davola too always felt like a missed opportunity to me.
Joe Davola, Jackie Chiles, Mr. Peterman, Uncle Leo, the Ross'....Seinfeld had a great roster of characters.
Each one of them could have their own show.
And who could forget Bob Sacamano?
The Ross’ 😂😂😂😂 Loved Them!!
@@MultiEviscerator There were plans for Chiles but were dropped
Rebecca Demornay!!
You left your door open. I like to encourage intruders lol. The best line ever
Elaine is a morning person!!!!
02:44 Great to see David Graff after Police Academy from Eugene Tackleberry.
The actor for Davola plays his part so well. He really embodies the crazy guy that we all want to avoid
Why shouldn't he play his part well ? You're under no obligation to praise him.
@@jimreily7538 Joe? Is it you?
Unfortunately, Peter Crombie, the actor who played Davola, passed away today, Jan 13, 2024.
@@MarmaLady__ Wow. He was a great actor. He was actually only set to appear in one episode. His agent Mark Scroggs signed him on a Sunday night, to appear for one episode to be filmed the next Monday morning. But because he was so great, and acted so well, they brought him back and he became a recurring character, and one of the most memorable.
He's kiboshed before, now he's kiboshing again, forever in the great beyond. Rest easy Pete. A wonderful actor and a good man, he gave Seinfeld fans so much joy.
@@jimreily7538 yes he really was a great actor. I so enjoyed his recurring character in Seinfeld. Thank you for sharing that info. Glad he was more than a one and done on Seinfeld.
RIP “it’s Joe Davola!”
Joe Davola’s non-response at 0:43 is my favorite part of that scene. Perhaps the best example of saying a lot without saying anything. His silence makes even creepier and unpleasant
The way he says “you wanna hit me?” almost like he was excited at the prospect always gets me. 😂😂
He certainly was. He likes to encourage intruders after all.
RIP Peter Crombie :-(
One of Seinfeld classics.
It takes a great actor to make us genuinely fear for the characters safety in a sitcom.
4:45 even Newman is afraid of him 😂
Rest in peace, Crazy Joe.
Don't clown around with crazy Joe diVola
🤣🤣🤣
You're under no obligation to shake his hand.
"clown around" LOL...I see what you did there😄
1:03 is when Davola's switch goes off
💡⚡

He has kiboshed before , Jerry , and he will kibosh again...
RIP Joe Davola
Eugene Tacklberry @ 3:00 - The Police Academy/Seinfeld crossover we didn't know we needed.
Rip peter crombie😥😥😥 i cant believe hes gone i miss hin already I wish he was still here
"Good. Fear is our most primal emotion."
Tackleberry acting like a typical cop.
EDIT: man, I just learned Peter Crombie passed on! RIP
Oooooo I didn't recognize him
What a joke of a cop.
Yeah. Cops are always eating sandwiches and coffee.
The real Tackleberry wouldn't let Davola's hooligan behavior stand.
You'll back away from Mr. Seinfeld.. NOW, MISTER!!!
@@Redfoot138😂😂
Brilliant episode! A muffin can be very filling 😂
Just heard he passed away. RIP
This episode cracked me up this is great humor. 👍
RIP Peter Crombie
Crazy Joe,Joe Davola 😂
2:07 !
Is this is the same guy who dressed up like a clown?
yup
@@yanni2112 To see Pagliacci at the opera.
Jerry end up having the same lunch that he was busting the cop’s chops for😂😂 classic 11.80$
And when George tells him, Jerry shrugs, like "well, that's reasonable".
I think the cop made them pay for his lunch.
Comedy gold! Jerry Seinfeld is a comedy genius.
R.I.P Peter Crombie
Horror bits in sitcom 👹😂
rest in peace Peter Crombie
I actually was scared for Elaine when Davola wouldn't let her out of his apartment. Then she pulled out the pepper spray.
*breath spray. She knows how to improvise
Cherry Binaca@@David-qi2ck
It was Cherry Binaca.
I'm a day person! :D
She was an intruder. 🤷♂️
Joe was a perfect creep! Peter Crombie nailed the role. I'm not sure if he was named that due to the TV Producer Joe Davola though.
Yes he was named after him. ABC Executive Producer, a friend of Larry David.
He's out there but I don't think he's malevolent. If you treat him good I think he'd reciprocate, or at least won't look to harm you.
JOE DAVOLA!!!! THANKS FOR POSTING THIS!!!
Kramer: Yo-Yo Ma!
Jerry: What? Yo-Yo Ma?
Kramer: What about him?
Jerry: You just said, 'Yo-Yo Ma'.
George: What's 'Yo-Yo Ma'?
Jerry: He's a cellist. You should see a doctor today.
Newman: I distinctly remember him saying...
Kramer: Yo-Yo Ma
RIP CRAZY JOE
RIP Joe. May there be plenty of helmets available in the afterlife.
First time I saw this I couldn't believe it when the cop all of a sudden orders a sandwich.
All of a sudden he gets hungry.
Kibosh imminent
Funny too because it’s usually Kramer throwing Jerry under the bus..
Having a pal like Davola would keep a lot of nutjobs away from me.
I’ve known people like Joe.
RIP Joe
RIP Peter Crombie. These episodes were gold.
Crazy Joe Davola
“Kramer’s…..having a party?!”
“No! He’s not having a party. He’s doing something. I don’t know what it is. It’s nothing.”
I always loved this interaction.
Find a Judo Blackbelt to put in your corner against De Vola Jerry. 👍😎
Wow just posted 8 days ago, it’s like they knew. RIP
Came here to say the same exact thing. RIP.
Every character is written with an edge, even bit parts, it's just like real life.
Anyone notice he's looking intensely at the poster for Nightmare Cafe?
Georgie boy got beard growing..looks so different
R.I.P. Peter Crombie
Crazy Joe
That homie Tackleberry from Police Academy😂
Joe was definitely out there.. he fits right in with the whole Seinfeld gang perfectly because their out there too 😊
Davola was crazy 😜
At 1:44 - Those were some sick waitressing skills the way she just casually walked between George and Jerry. I'm very impressed.
3:10 “What are you doing” I always pronounce it like this ever since I saw this episode
The Police Academy crossover with Seinfeld.
Of course it had to be the cop from "Police Academy". lol
Must be the life of the party…..if he’s ever invited to one.
Just not on Sunday night at Kramer's.
Well, when he's on his meds he's actually pretty normal. Because that's how he gets Elaine to go out with him in the first place. Then the psychiatrist leaves him without the meds and he reverts to aggressive insanity.
@@jimreily7538 That’s normal?!
@@alexshank1414 Well this scene is him without his medication. The psychiatrist left him alone without it. When he takes it he's very happy and upbeat. They show him in one scene when he's on the meds and he's not crazy like in this scene
@@jimreily7538 Medicated America. Don’t feel right? Color blue looks too blue? Medicate yourself.
Without the laugh track Crazy Joe Devola threatening Elaine would have felt like an episode of Criminal Minds
😂😂
Jerry saying all of a sudden you got hungry to cop sounds Little british accent-ish 🤔
After his muffin, Tackleberry resigned from the NYPD foot patrol and became of full-time trainer at the Police Academy.
1:04 😂😂😂
When he does that motion to turn his head is pure gold
I got a bunch of joe davolas following me around.
Rip
"Mental Health Concern Joseph" Davola
Tackleberry and Bishop/Frank Black in one episode!
You're under no obligation to shake my hand
No but there's karma Kramer 🤣
Stephen McHattie is awesome!
Well that was a rare smart cop, but legal to throw the bill? Some muffins are intense.
Hinkley got out last year-that’s wild
🤣💯👍
The cop seems to be on his lunch break. Therefor, he's off-duty. If there were an emergency, I imagine he would do something to help. But since there' no emergency, Seinfeld is wrong to complain.
RIP
Crazy Joe Devola...
RIP -Peter Crombie..
Rest in Peace Peter...and thank you.
Muffin, sandwich, and coffee😂
Joe Davola could have had his own spin off
Where’s Mahoney & Hightower??
I like making people uncomfortable....
They should include the episode where Elaine gets trapped in Davola's apartment. That was really scary and not funny.
Don't enter someone else's apartment without knocking.
Cop should have arrested them for acting like criminal conspirators.
Jerry saying all of a sudden you got hungry to cop sounds little British accent -ish 🤔
Absolute sigma
George Costanza the greatest hero of the show… Neumann comes a close 2nd, then Kramer distant 3rd followed by Jackie Chiles Lawyer and then Mr Bookman + Soup Nasi + Crazy Joe Devola & of course Frank Kostanza his dad. ….lastly the impeccable Mr SteinBrenner…..JERRYsienfeld-the most annoying with 0 actingSills ….. ….
