About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

Damn seinfield dissing drake b4 he even came up
Lol😂😂😂😂😂
"I gave all the gifts to charity" straight away. Elaine wasn't the first caller about the gifts certainly.
Of course George was able to foresee what kind of person drake was.
He was really good in judging people 😂
Well he is bright not academically speaking, he was perceptive though
His character is based on larry davids personality
Yeah he really is actually - I think he just cuts people down to size without worrying about the niceties.
The gifts should have been returned.
Why are George's rants always so relatable? The present rant in particular. I swear I had that exact same rant in my head a number of times
He says what we’re all thinking
The Drake would have given me back my tv. Ain't no way you're keeping my tv, if you're not getting married. George was right about the Drake.
Jerry and Elaine always have friends who are more acquaintances than friends.
They’re like people who befriend other people just for the social status and social proof.
0:19 ..hate The Drake, hate The Drake 3:01 👀! !
I hate the drake. The drake is bad.
then got the nerve to say "I hate the Sein" in the finale smh 🤦🏾♂️
That’s why he hates the Drake
I'm with George on this one.
Pepsi and ring dings are supreme
That was some fancy TV for 1993.
5000 dollars in todays money.
Not sure why you'd give someone you hardly know a $5k TV but ok. 😂
I’m old enough to remember a vcr in 1980 being sold at Broadway department store for the oh so low price of 990 bucks
No, they weren't. Had friends with them, the resolution was like 360p, you needed a forklift to lift them and they cost a fortune.
@@Cutlass_Rudd 480i. And he clearly said "for 1993". Of course it was fancy back then. Comparing them to today's techonology is stupid.
George is so funny saying how can someone be so selfish and inconsiderate right after she gave the gifts to charity 😂😂😂
he's not wrong though 😂
She should of offered back before being unselfish.
The writing on this show is fantastic.
Decent people know it’s proper etiquette to return engagement presents when the relationship ends and even wedding gifts if it ends shortly after the ceremony
Yep. I was taught that if you break up before the wedding up to a *year* AFTER, gifts are to be returned.
I think the Drake was a huge simp and gave her all the gifts in hopes of reconciling with her.
An engagement does not warrant gifts.
Agreed.
Amen.
At least of bottle of wine
specially a big screen TV.
How could somebody be so selfish!?
Classic George!
Y'all should've listened to our boy Costanza about the Drake, his suspicious cynicism is on point 🤣
It's not hers it's theirs once there is no theirs there is no hers it's ours. - Georgie boy 😂
Don’t worry they’ll make friends fast with that new tv 😂
“You know I’m thinking of getting a yoyo” lmfao so random.
In the next episode by production code (The Junior Mint), Jerry is using a yo-yo in the hospital room. But that episode aired two episodes before this one so it seems even more random that he’d mention it here!
Talk about stringing along the scene
The Drake was so torn up by the break, he decided to bake a coffee cake
Something scary: The older I get the more I side with George
Drake's ex gives nice items to charity. Jerry "That's appalling!" George: "How could anybody be so selfish and inconsiderate!" 🤣I love this show.
The funny thing was that actually WAS inconsiderate of her. One of the few times giving to a legit charity is actually a bad thing.
I highly doubt the gifts were given to charity. Those two individuals' minds and hearts didn't work that way.
@@lonelyheroineactually, she gave them to united volunteers, the charity Frank worked for, and they ended up getting the TV back and instead of donating it to the wheelchair lady, they return it and get their money back.
That tv was a very big gift for an engagement! 😮
True but it’s split between four people
@@augustalavenderblue7353 Okay, that's true, but a tv for an engagement is still a big gift. At least..... that's my opinion. 😅
Now Jerry and Elaine could have guilt tripped the Drake and Drakette to see every super bowl. Lol
George: The engagement’s off. We get the TV back. That’s business.
Elaine: The Drakette took it.
Lord of the Flies was playing The Drake's TV.
That was the movie version of the book!? Wow! We read that in tenth grade! I had never seen even one clip from the movie until you pointed that out! Thank you!
@@robertweir5313 YW.😄
@@robertweir5313 it was look like the book but yet it was more modern to the its day. like the ending when you see the actor who plays Muldoon(Jurassic Park) at the end he's wearing modern US combat fatigues.
Rumor has it that Newman loves Drakes coffee cakes
Who doesn’t?
@@Corpsman01Jerry's neighbor, Martin. It's too crumbly and falls apart too easily.
@@Corpsman01never heard of them. I’ve only had hostess though with hostess I’m still kinda ticked they don’t make blackberry pies or the jelly filled doughnuts called O’s
This makes no sense.
Why would the man "Drake" feel guilty and give her the tv?
He was crying, that means SHE dumped him.
To be fair, we don’t know why she dumped him
@@aidanesbjornson4522 She hates the Drake
@redacted2275 who doesn't?
Miss Manners would have probably said, a broken engagement means you must return gifts
Miss Manners/ Tales From The Front byline.
4:39 the fact Alison answers by saying she already gave the gifts to charity presupposes she's been asked by others wanting their gifts returned
Who else remembers when a 40+ inch tv was a really big deal...and also weighed a ton it felt like.
I have a 50" plasma flatscreen that is "only" about 12-15 years old. At 85 lbs, it seems to weigh a ton compared to the TV's of today!
I even remember that we had a black/white tv. 😂😂😂
The way Elaine drops that pretzel back into the bowl 😂
George was right about the Drake and the present thing never ending.
People get engaged and get married just for the presents
Altough I've never given(or been expected to give) engagement gifts. Wedding gifts yes. baby gifts. Birthday gifts.
@@jenniferwilliams5478Certainly not all, but some do. I've known a couple of them...
One even admitted to me a couple weeks after the wedding that a month or so BEFORE the wedding they broke up and but got back together right away because they wanted the gifts. Yes, they got divorced a couple years later.
George doesn't want to be generous anyways
I think once something is gifted it should be considered gone and there should be no expectation of returns which is precisely why you don't give extortionately expensive presents.
No, it was a expected Engagement going gifting, plenty of expected return offer after no go engagement, legally is an other matter.
Hate the Drake.
The Drakette. 🤣
"Don't worry. They'll make friends fast with that nice tv"
Indifferent about the Drake
Hate The Drake😡 but Love Drake's Coffee Cakes!😛
I like Ring Dings.
@@trevertravis8963With some Pepsi!🤣
Who doesnt hate the Drake?
Hate the guy! 3:52 lol
I told you the Drake was bad! I hate the Drake!
This hits different in 2024 w Kendrick Lemar lol
The Drake
You gotta love the Drake 😅
Gagliano's, that's pretty good
the drake before Drake was like that😅
"How could anybody be so selfish and inconsiderate?".
George is both right and wrong. Giving to charity is good, but in this situation she should've asked first.
George is the best #1🤣💯👍
jerry’s delivery was so goofy at 3:02 , HATE THE DRAKE 😂😂
3:01
seinfeld dissing drake, before drake was drake
George's acting was on different level.
George doesn't wanna be generous anyways. All that "people getting presents" thing.
..every big fight. 😂😂😂😂
Elaine: there's nothing like a really big TV.
2023: ???
😅😅😅
I can empathize with George on this one. When. couple gets engaged/married or whatever, it's one present. That's it.
When my best friend got married it was ridiculous. There was the engagement party for in town guests, one for out of town guests, there was a jack n jill thing, then there was some pre wedding shindig, then they asked for a presentation at the wedding. I was pretty pi$$ed by the end of it all. That said, who gives a big screen tv for an engagement gift. ?
Imagine another group of friends buying a gift for the Drakette having similar conversations, "I looove the Drakette!".
Now we all have massive TVs
And then a random conversation about Jerry buying a yo-yo.
"HATE THE DRAKE!"
Larry David predicted Drake’s future over 30 years ago. Goddamn this writing aged well.
The irony that George asks how can someone be so selfish when they're trying to get back a gift they gifted 😂😂😂
no, for all 3 Gifters, engagement gift is toward a engaged couple, not separation.
This is why you never do a chip in on an engagement gift.
Something tells me there was no charity 😂
The drake and using of plans and destiny Linda’s… breathe ya’ll… humility and confidence and laughing… skins and beyond.
The whole 'who's the drake bit' was like a 1930s throwback
1:49 shoutout to the toyota previa
Good for you George, but no tv recovering 😅😅😅😅
Elaine should have kept that remote! For Spite!
It just hangs from a ceiling
Not kidding - this happened to me once : me and my BF broke up an hour or 2 before his best friend from out of town was visiting for a weekend ! LOL. I'm laughing NOW - BUT - NOT THEN !!
Why did you break up
Did his friend buy you guys a present and then want it back?
NO. LOL @@element5092
We did not have much in common. @@mobilemag6570
Does anything ever turn out well on this show? 🤣
When George invests in stocks and makes a big net profit.
It’s a Hyundai!
@@Corpsman01 😂😂
They did get the TV back eventually.
Not really.
lets buy them a couch!
The drake type of guy to give their engagement gift away
They not like us
You give gifts at the WEDDING Jerry
How could George not like Drake, he should listen to his music. It's great music.
The bike the bike? How come we never rode the bike
Frank Drake is the only Drake I like
He's got a great equation.
Name of show on the TV?
It’s not to be returned because it was only given for selfish reasons, hence Jerry commandeering the couch upon his entrance into the Drakes domicile.
George was right from the start. Giving people engagement presents is a stupid idea.
The days before wide-screen tvs.
"I hate the drake"
Seinfeld predicted to hate DRAKE ahead of time, legendary
Man look at Jerry’s massive cellphone
I think we all admit that we hate the Drake🤝🏻.
that woman on the coouch..yup..looks like shee needs......an attitude adjustment!!!!hillarious!!!!!
I feel like the older i get the more im with george. He’s the least phony of them all lol
Kendrick Lamar fans😂😂
The Drake and Thr Drakettes
Remember when *that* was considered a large TV?
Pepperidge Farms remembers.
At least the ex did not continue to keep the presents. Or throw them out.
Jerry Seinfield dated a 17 year old.
no wonder he likes drake so much
You trolls
Aren't all of us trolls, really?
Hands up how many women returned the engagement ring after they broke up?

I used to think this show was funny until I realized the absurdness and immaturity of the characters. Maybe I’m just getting older and don’t find what used to be funny “funny” anymore.
The Drake. So everyone is referring to this clown in the 3rd person constantly?
