Hey Guys, here's the Blue Devil Oil Stop Leak link: amzn.to/3lCFtRJ
Blue Devil , I poured it down , drove for a hour and never seen another oil leak after.
I don't have a oil leak but always love seeing the Camaro videos 😂🔥
Hahaha, Jerryy! My man, thanks for the love!
Thanks for the info! Going to give this a whirl on my '13 Jeep. As my typical luck would've it, Ive got a small leak 2 weeks before going on vacation to the beach! Please keep us posted!
Will be making an update soon!
I used their Rear Main Seal fix and it worked like a charm!! It was leaking really bad, so bad I didn't even want to drive it. Stopped the leak almost instantly. I'm going to try this for the other leaks. :D
Check my latest video bro, I had an accident with the leak. But yeah the Blue devil did wonders for me temporarily.
Soap academy have u hadd any more leaks recently
Rear main seal
I have never thought of testing the level of oil leak by seeing if I can leave a foot print in it. Sounds like a valid test criteria though.
Yes I've got to do mine too thanks 👍🏼 so I started to degree's around the oil pan ect . Would of been over the years bought my Toyota Celica back in 86 / first time ever I changed my own oil . Now I'm addicted to degreesing under my car in the back area 👍🏼 thankyou for sharing 💪🏼
amazing how adding another substance can stop a leak I have no idea how that works But good video 👍🏽
Right?! Awesome stuff bro. Thanks for the comment :)
Fix the problem and stop using chemicals.
It conditions old seals to swell up
I need this stuff to try and stop a small leak on my wife’s grand Cherokee! Pretty sure it’s the rear main seal and I really don’t feel like spending an entire day out on the ground fixing it so I’m going to give this blue devil stuff a try, wanted to watch some reviews first before I put something in her engine without knowing anything about it haha watched your video because I also have a Camaro...2012 Black Mamba !!! Love my camaro by far my favorite vehicle I’ve owned to drive so much fun and just a great car all around luckily I haven’t had any leaks or issues with mine yet...only 50K miles though
Did it work?
My 2002 i
I’ve dumped $1000’s into gasket replacement. Still leaking, leaks seem to crop up in other spots once gaskets replaced. PCV valve assembly replaced also 😮. What works with silicone gaskets?
Thanks a big help will try it on my a Ford Probe.
Can you put this in every 3 months if it starts leaking again in 3 months?
I bought the same oil stop leak and it worked perfectly for me. Thanks!!
You're welcome broksi!
thanks for your detailed review and tutorial. out of 3 reviews so far yours is the best. 08 suzuki reno. and cool camaro, its my dream car.
This stuff has saved me thousands great video
Great to hear man!
Will this work for a valve cover gasket that is leaking? Thanks 👍
That's what I needed it for on my Chevy Cruze. I'm replacing it regardless but I needed something immediate.
Hopefully it lasts long! I wanna see the Camaro with headers !
Coming soon bro!
Thanks . I will use it in my 2002 Trans Am.
I’ve used that stuff on a dripping oil leak, I had to idle the car for an hour but it 100% worked , It was literally dripping
I have a small leak on my Z71. Been looking for some at 205 for it but it’s getting harder to find.
What's getting hard to find
Can this work on my timing chain cover? Its hads a lil leak thnaks man
Where did you get your z/28 splitter and spoiler?
Walmart Online, no joke!
wow they look great for Walmart quality. thanks.

Thanks for the review man. I will give it a try.
but on the bottle it says permanent repair? so why would you need to change the gaskets if it says permanent repair?
it may be 'permanent' for lightly damaged gaskets and seals. Mine clearly were beyond that. It happens. I made a follow up video after this
I have a 1999 c5 my problem was my Thermostat was leaking coolant so the coolant was touching my belt making a squeaking noise so I change my thermostat change my belt still was making the noise so I found out my valve cover was leaking oil on to my belt making the noise so I try out Lucas oil stop leaks so I’m found out tomorrow.
I'm assuming you have to be driving, but my question is do you have to be driving or can you just run the car and maybe shift the gears from time to time I'm willing to try it but I don't think this will not work for me because I have a very bad leak and bad slipping. Sometimes they will be no motion forward or reverse but if I turn the car off and restart it I'll have forward and reverse motion again. I drove home 50 miles like this it was very slow but sometimes I would get up to 50 miles an hour and had to keep adding transmission fluid. Seven quarts that night
I think your leakage or situation is beyond the repair of this bottle bro. This is really good for small to mid size rips, lesions, etc. Anything more and it would probably leak out too.
I have been informed by the Ford Dealership's mechanic that I have the beginnings of a Timing Cover leak and it was a big job, 12 -15 hrs. They quoted me an estimate of +/- $2400. CAD to repair the leak in the sealant. Okay, I asked the mechanic if there was any product that may resolve this leak as I personally could not confirm that there was a leak but my car is a 2015 Ford Explorer with 85, 000 klms on the odometer. The answer was "NO!"
So I searched Google and discovered the Blue Devil products and this video. Now I am waiting on a second opinion from another certified garage. Question, since the leakage appears to be in its infancy might this product provide a permanent cure? If not what amount of time might I have before being forced to have the big job of replacing the silicon seal around the housing of the timing belt? Thanks, Gerry
Gerry, thanks for commenting. FYI, I'm not a sales representative of the company or a technician of the product, just a guy reviewing a product/solution that I've encountered.
That being said, I've found that the leaks in the infancy tend to be "fixed" to the point where it no longer leaks and can provide a couple of weeks/months of protection from critical spills, leaks, gushes. I wouldn't go out of my way and say it's a permanent solution, but it definitely has helped me prolong the life of the seals.
Now the aspect of "well the solution could harm the engine" , I regretfully didn't explore information on that. I haven't had any issues at all relevant to that.
I hope this helps!
3 years later is it still working?
Wow im going to try blue devil i have a leak..i hope i stops my leak
Thanks for the info. Any updates for the long term of the fix?
Check out the video about my huge oil leak its in the camaro ss issues playlist!
It really works 👍🏽
Yes it does! Glad it helped man
My Mercedes c250 is leaking. I am going to try this way. Hope it works.
Did it work?
I only clicked on this video to see that sweet camaro😌🤤🤤🤤
Ayeee thanks bro :)
My 06 TL is at a point where im gonna start testing oil stop leaks. So far im on my 2nd application of bars leak and i think I’ve drove the recommended miles so I gotta check how it’s doing. Next I’m doing blue devil
Bro, I have a TL 6 speed. 2005. Valve cover gasket leak. I didn’t do oil change. Just bought the blue devil for 16$ at local auto shop and I drove for like 30-35 minutes and it stopped leaking bro. It works, but I’m sure it’s short term. But I’m content!
Yeah guys this again, a band aid fix. Eventually the seals or gaskets will just fail completely and this wont stop the bleeding :(
@@can1beatme Your engine and transmission is probably covered in oil isn’t it? How is it doing 1 month later?
06 Acura TL here and I just used blue devil oil stop leak going to see how it goes for a valve gasket leak 🤷
@@joshp-bp8rt did it work
I currently have a valve cover gasket leak only after 18 months/8000 or so miles after replacing it. I work at home, so most driving is luxury or necessities. Can't tell if the guy I paid did it wrong, the product was faulty or whatever else, but I'm gonna try this out, see if I get a little more life out of the gasket and see if I don't have to pay a "legit" guy $400+ for labor now.
2006 Infiniti G35 X 110k Miles
Keep me posted. I'm going to be doing a review or update soon!
I have an FRS, the 86 platform has been known to leak from the timing cover seal. Many who have resealed there timing covers through the dealers immediately notice a leak begin to happen. I'm gonna try this so if it helps.
Put some RTV silicone around the outside of it. It will last a WHILE. If you cant reach it, put it on a screwdriver then apply.
Just used a similar product in my girls 06 Jetta. Hopefully it helps (she has a valve cover leak and rear main leak) :')
Keep me posted on your car bro!
Yo how’s your car going I got a 350z with a valve cover leak and I’m wondering if this shit works
Using this on my Chevy Cruze to try and stop a leak in my valve cover/ gasket. Im replacing it myself and have the part already. I just wanted to see if this stuff actually did anything. Here goes nothing...
im bout to do the same with a 2015 hyundai sonata, i wanna see if this stuff works if not then ill replace it. oil seeping from the valve cover gasket and dripping on manifold smells so damn bad lol funky
For this level on vehicle and not having the funding to fix it properly your best bet is just to keep adding oil and checking the oil level every day or so
What about the oil stop makes it really bad for the engines?
@@gvaspirated These products are quick and cheap fix, those are potentially harmful to other components of the engine. Now, assuming you do a flush and don't wait too long to change it. But the only thing that should be in your engine is motor oil.
Also it depends on how much oil you are losing, some leaks are worse than others. So, products like these are more suited towards old buicks with 250k or more rather than a highend sport car with more technology. I had a dealership add uv dye and i drove it for a while and the engine was running very weird. I have since than resealed the oil pan which caused the leak
@@victorh8863 where do you get your false information?
Excellent thank you I am 90 yrs old so if it works great if not thank you anyway Ron
Thanks for the comment, Ronald! Hope it works out. Be safe.
Does it matter how long you drive it after you add it? If your going to do your daily driving habits, is that ok, or do you need to drive it for an hour?
Its recommended to drive a certain amount after application to see a difference. I think it was like 100 miles? So daily driving habits are fine or you can take the car for a couple of farther places. For me 100 miles is done very quickly, in like 2-3 days or if I go up north.
Driving a Camaro I can do 100 miles in less than an hour listening to some tunes! Another product I’ve heard helps that people have had luck with is that tx7 additive I believe it’s called
Surprisingly this crap works after changing the vtech solenoid 2 belts and unknown quarts of oil this fixed it or slowed it down on a honda Cr-v that had a massive leak
Firestone is the biggest scam. Even if I need to take it in somewhere, never in a million years would I go to Firestone ...or Conrads.
You spend 10 minutes talking out of the videos 12 minutes. Just poor the damn thing and tell if it worked or not. 😠
lol there's timestamps for a reason.
It doesn't stop the leaks until you hit about 200 miles of driving .......
On their website:
How long will the repair last?
BlueDevil is a permanent repair!
How large of a leak does it repair?
BlueDevil will seal leaks in any fluid systems that are seeping or dripping.
Sounds about right. At some point the damage is irreversible. I’m not overly convinced that this is “permanent” in fact, I have a video like 3 months after that updating. Check it out
Used two bottles and didn't work for me
At all? It may be that the seal is is beyond repair from this product.
Leaks the most with a hot engine turned off.
Yup 8 hour job 😢
Worst stuff to add to your engine
along with UV DYE
It’s clear you have absolutely no mechanical knowledge stick to video games
Step one never get a camaro
Fact 😆 🤣 😂 😹
