Your note about the "lock in" mechanism is gold. Most negative reviews I read are about controllers flying off. With that out the way, I'll order them. Thanks!
I just received them. They feeel so good. I haven't even played yet. Just holding them feels amazing. Thanks for the discount! And that clicking in advice is super useful.
For the floppy extender thing to tighten i wrap it om the bottom of grip to keep it out if the way Obviously different tightness so may not work for all but if it becomes an issue it may be enough
The point of "the flappy bit" is to actuality and do the final tightening when you take floppy bit around to the circle on the backside of the hand wrap. This will remove the irritation of the band, AND tighten it at the same time.
No, this will not work. I see your theory, but this does not work. The controllers simply are not designed to allow the strap to hook onto those dials.
I use the kiwi design extended grips I cant even put the rechargeable batteries from meta in controller and use grips. You cant recharge it yes but you cant even leave them in without the battery cover not closing properly So these might ny possible replacement one day Fod now ill leep using Duracell rechargeable batteries
If you plug them in every time you're done playing, you never have to worry about swapping batteries to charge them. But yeah, I totally understand the argument for that if you're someone to forget to plug it in to charge, so that's a fair point.
@CheeseburberOfficial You literally do? There’s no way to keep the headset on for PCVR unless you’re using airlink and have it plugged into an outlet directly, but even then unless you’re using VR for like 4 days straight with no stopping, you can just plug your controllers in when you’re done using the headset for the day 😭
They came with controller grips. I don't remember which ones exactly, but if you search for silicone controller grips there are a few that come with these little thumbstick grips. Perhaps you can find them separately on eBay or somewhere similar as well.

Just installed mine and you hit the nail on the head. Affordable, solid feel and no more batteries! Thanks

Glad you're enjoying them and found the tip useful! 🙏 Thanks for the support!
thank you for the review, mate, you're an excellent communicator. I just discovered your channel. Greetings from Spain!
Thank you for such kind words! 🙏
These grips look great. I'm using AMVR straps which work and I just swap batteries. But these grips might be a future replacement.
Thanks for the tips
i personally would still attach a wrist strap for extra safety in case the knuckle strap got loose.
I got these grips based off the recommendation from this video and I love them.
Glad you enjoy them! They've been great over here!
Just ordered a set. Really good review !
Thank you! I'm curious to hear your thoughts on them! 🙏

Looks alright but I prefer just swapping batteries and not having to wait for my controllers to be charged.

Yeah but you have to wait for the headset to charge anyway, so why not just charge the controllers at the same time?

@@ThisKoryhow long do the controllers last?

i bought the amvr ones but thinking i might keep those as a back up and get these instead for the recharging port.
Does anyone have an idea of how long those rechargeable batteries last?
What type of grips are those on the thumbsticks, are they kontrol freek if so how do you get them that small I cant find any

these kinda work but the angle in the tracking messes up
Could you explain it better? The grips messes up with the tracking of the VR?
