Thank you so much for doing this video. I can't tell you how many times I looked for a video that uses mulitple color vinyls that are layered only to be disappointed. Your example is perfect for how this technique is accomplished.
Very nice I love it. I did 12 bags for a sewing club they came out awesome. Love watching layering vinyl. I have never tried layering with different colors now I see how to do it. You made it look so easy. Awesome teachers gift I know they will love it. Thanks
Discovered youn recently and WOW! I have learned so much already. I have had my Scan nCut for seven years and still did not know how to use it. After watching one of your videos the other day I made a t shirt for my grandson using a basketball svg a layering the colors. I am also excited about using wood and acrylic and all the things that I see you use. I am a crafter mostly a cardmaker so I bought the ScannCut so I would not have to buy dies. However I am not good with computers and I had great difficulty figuring out what buttonsn to push and how to do the technology of a cutting machine. I also tried the Cricut and could not understand that either. I feel now that I can understand how to use my Brother finally. I'm so excited. Thank you! Also how long can you keep HTV before you have to get rid of it? I have some very old vinyl and I want to know if it is any good or should I throw it away. Thanks!
@AllBrands I am totally new and confused about Brother Scan an Cut. I have the brother scan and cur SDX125E. I want to cut vinyl is there some other kit I need to buy to be able to cut the vinyl?
My Canvas workspace doesn't look like that, it seems to be a much more simplified version. Is that an upgraded paid for version? I clicked the link in the description and it brings me back to my simple one!
You are a great teacher yourself. Did you make a bag for yourself? I haven’t decided what’s machine I want yet, but I will be buying one soon . I do mostly stamping- so mostly just cutting out stamped images. There seems to be a discontinued item on all the newer machines… Do you know why.
You need an SVG for a project like this. PES are embroidery files. You can convert parts of an embroidery design to a cut file for creating pieces of an applique. In this case the machine converts the pieces to and FCM file, which is the Scan n Cut's unique cutting file type.
You put the black on top of the colors, every time I have done that the top color has peeled off after a short time. I would love for you to show us how to do that but without putting colors on top of each other.
My matts are just like 2 to 3 weeks old..( im a newbe), .i clean them with totally awsome, and alcool free baby wipes in between, they are BARELY sticky ALREADY :(, DO YOU HAVE any tricks on how to make em stick again, im bummed cause my matts are new :( veryndisapointed if they dont last longer than that, at 50$ a pop well :(
Wow thats odd they aren't lasting I would tape down items to have the mat last longer but cleaning them with totally awesome should of helped. Did you dilute the totally awesome because that would remove your stick on your mat. Full strength is best. - Courtney
You are a wonderful teacher!!!!! Thank you!

The scan n cut 125 dx might be a good option for u
If you buy a design for the ScanNcut is it a PES file or SVG file. Really enjoy watching your videos

Which brother scan and cut are you using or what model number I’m wanting to buy one
I'm not getting the "layers" button/option on my canvas workspace.
When I click on products shown, it says, “We’re sorry, file not found”. Can you do a link for the bags and the pattern that works, please?
I'm so sorry I will get that fixed. - Courtney
where can i get the crayon design
What temperature is your iron set at?
I had it at the highest setting it would go. - Courtney
I want to cut a quilt square in vinyl how do I get rid oh the 1/4 seam allowance
Cute
Thank you.- Courtney

I would love for you to show us how to do that but without putting colors on top of each other.
Remember not to put a glitter under another vinyl and to use a high heat press or iron to seal vinyl in. - Courtney
