- Like most things on the Jeep, this package should just drop in- but of course it doesn't. After a little trimming, I'm excited to see how these Mishimoto products perform in the wild. This marks a few more steps forward towards driving again.

This setup: 5 years in my XJ, 0 issues, 0 coolant loss, NEVER goes over 200 degrees, spends lots of time in traffic at 100+ degree weather.
Most people think this isn’t a good setup because they think it’s somehow going to fix issues not related to the radiator or fans. Learn how to flush a block and swap a water pump people!
This comment makes me so happy! It’s my exact thoughts- usually the people that still overheat with this setup have other issues they need to deal with. Either the ones you described or a cracked/lifted head from overheating on the stock rad/fans.
I’m in Arizona so I love hearing that even when OAT is above 100, they do their job.
Nice job Layne.I think you should replace that condenser.It is probably full of dust and dirt and will decrease air flow through your radiator.With that stroker,you are going to need all the cooling you can get....
That’s not a terrible idea while the AC system is depressurized. Time to find out if molar still makes it 😂
good luck with that set up, im always reading of people still having over heating issues with that setup and they revert back to factory cooling system.
I’ll accept the luck! 😂 I read quite a few reviews on both sides and it seemed like a lot of the guys who still overheat also have other issues causing heat buildup.

How do you like this setup? Do you have a video on the wiring of the fans? I have a newer stock style radiator and have been looking at these fans.
From my experience, I’d avoid mishimoto from a quality standpoint. The fan shroud doesn’t have a mounting solution on the top and the fans are rebranded Chinese junk. If I were to do it again I’d buy Novak or Dirtbound shroud and spal 800 cfm slim fans

Both honestly. I’ve already had to drill and retap my overflow nipple as well as mounting options on the radiator were clearly an afterthought. The fans don’t seal against the shroud and I’m not sure I believe their cfm claims
