Sandra “PUMA” Jones was a friend of mine I remember going to visit her when she lived on Convent Ave bet 140 & 141st St and I lived on 142nd and Convert. She was a very down to earth person I am grateful that I had got to know her RIH Sister.
Puma was a social worker by profession and would come to Africa House on Lenox Avenue near 125th Street to Hail Up, Empress the owner. Oh, how Puma was loved, admired, and respected. Nobody could copy her African dance moves and impeccable style.
KLGMedia would also like to send out our heart felt condolences to the family of Rudolph "Garth" Dennis. A great loss to the Jamaican and reggae community. The work he performed with the Wailing Souls and Black Uhuru will always be remembered 🎶🎼🎶
@@jenifahconally2736 Greetings Jenifah. KLGMedia would love to send out our apologies to you for using the wrong image to represent you. We hope it doesn't offend you. We attempted to put together a short time line of the success of the Black Uhuru band, but got some imagery incorrect. We hope to be more accurate in the future. May Jah bless you in all you do.

Greetings, I am deeply saddened to hear of Robbie's passing. My condolences to his wife, family & fans. Robbie was a wonderfully irie bredrin & I was honoured to have toured with him & Sly Dunbar during my time as a Black Uhuru member. I am still making music with my King Rupie Dan as Jenifah Gad.... Give thanks for this video...Blessed love💯
First Come-My most sincere condolences to Robbies family. I am very saddened for another loss to the Reggae industry. Robbie a top rankin bassist, will forever be missed, but his musical collaboration will forever fill the air waves. RIP Robbie Second: I had the pleasure to attend the Black Uhuru reunion tour in Santa Cruz Ca. The tour was to promote their Now LP, which I ended up buying the cassette format at the concert and still have it. I think i should listen to it before calling it a night . Rest In Peace Star
Loving this one thanks for sharing very information blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
At one point the crowd got into the stage dancing around the band… then some fool stole the drummer’s hat s they stopped the music for a minute. Very disrespectful. The band was great
Bro. Brixton grew up on their sound and many others. Always wanted to know where these people are now. Now I no longer live in Brixton. But love the vibe. Ps I am a dinosaur. 57yrs young, white etc but boys in Brixton kept me sweet. Thanks for the update. Love and respect. Jerome.
The group's strongest period was definitely between 1977-84 with Michael Rose at the helm...But wait a minute..! Funny..Where are Sly Dunbar and Janet Olakfunde... Lol !!!l
Never have there being a band with so many members famous singers, truly epic band with so much credentials.
