Hi, nice video but why do you use chrome when you have Microsoft edge. It has so many PRODUCTIVITY features

@@JeffSu if you use Edge you have the picture on picture built in :) don´t need any extension (same with opera)

@@JeffSu Will do. So far I love it. I noticed it hasn't had an update since 2017. It could use one or two more features, but it's FAST and simple and I love that. Great suggestion.

Huge fan from Germany!! Very entertaining representation!! So much I even watch the topics I don't need to know much about ;-) Regarding the Papier-extesnsion: "Papier" is a German word and simply means "paper" so tell your educated friends it is: pronouced "Pa-peer"

I found kind of strange some references to Edge appearing in some of your tips, but I couldn't figure out that all those extensions can also be used as Edge extensions! You're a genius! (P. S. @@JeffSu I was working on some templates for a lead magnet and a good friend is going to be my beta tester. I needed her logo colors and remembered seeing the color picker tool in this video so I grabbed it. It worked perfectly! Then I used it again later to create some designs for posts. It's like a little magic wand for sure!

My extension recommendations
Extension manager - you can decrease ram usage by turning a set of extensions off just by one click. It also makes turning single extension off or on easier
Floating for TH-cam - better than "picture in picture". You can also skip and fast-forward.
Read aloud - read any specific text or whole page on screen.
History cleaner - one click and clean all history
Return TH-cam dislike
Button for Google calendar - see google calendar without opening it.
Channel blocker - block YT channels
LanguageTool - it's Grammarly, but better. Works for Doc too.

I just discovered this amazing Chrome extension called TextGrab that lets you copy and paste text from videos and images. It's been a game changer for me!
Your videos are always so good. I need some more strong Gmail and google calendar set up help. Any videos coming soon on customizing google calendar. I struggle most with group meetings and recurring meetings.

I think there is one chrome extension that lets you navigate the web through keyboard. You don't have to move your cursor. When the page loads it annotates the page with shortcuts and when you press that key it acts as if you clicked that link and can navigate the web through your keyboard. I forgot the name of that extension but I believe it adds up to your overall productivity if you don't have to switch between keyboard and mouse.
Yes I heard about that one! I actually debated whether or not to include it but to be honest, I like using the mouse 😂

I recommend Mindful for user who are not English instead of Papier.
because Papier has the language composition problem.

@@JeffSu For example, when writing in Korean, the Hangul characters are composed using a combination of keys that cannot be typed directly on a keyboard. In this case, an IME is used to input the Hangul characters. IME is also used for various languages such as Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Thai, and more. (ㄱ + ㅡ + ㅁ => 금)
IME stands for Input Method Editor, which is a software that helps users input characters or languages that cannot be directly typed on a computer or mobile device keyboard.
I noticed an issue when working with compositable language in Papier.

UBlock origin tip- You can enable advanced options and block certain domains and their scrips. For instance i blocked all my Facebook and google trackers on non google sites.

Good Evening Jeff! I just got into linkedin last week and found your channel with a lot of good things to help me improve my profile. The thing is that I'm a bit confused right now. To resume, right now I'll be leaving my job as Commercial Assistant in a bank, If I wanted I would stay but the majority of Interns don't have a chance of continuity. I see the advantage of leaving because I already have 1 year experience as that and could apply to another similar job. There's a big "but", I would like to do courses in conciliation. Why? For a long time I've been lost in what to do and right now the problem is not knowing how to even start walking this path. The main thing moving me is going after TV Series and cinema. Screenwriting, directing, producing and I wouldn't discard acting. Without experience and only with my will, can you help me even in the smallest way? In the meantime I'm trying to have something related to digital tecnology.
I would start by using LinkedIn to network with people in your target industry (I have several videos talking about this). Leaving comments consistently, taking courses, leading with value. That's where I'd start. Good luck!

Thanks for the input! I don't use Microsoft products unfortunately haha. Both platforms are great, just pick one and stick with it 😁
You don't even have to stick with one, you can keep everything in MS formats and Google Workspace can open and work with them just fine. I recently was trading a contract between myself and a client and I could use Google Docs proofing to add suggestions, then save as a word doc and send to them to review and send back new suggestions and comments in the document.

the save to notion extension has had some poor reviews recently relating to it not working or asking for permissions relating to gmail inbox access. is this still a safe extension to use?
I had the same complaint, then I re-installed it and the permissions went away
