- Join me as I return to Corner Collective in Terryville, CT for more antique and vintage treasures. (Hint - it was just as good the second time around!) I'll show you what I bought and how I styled my finds at home. I'll also give you a tour of my home library and design an imaginary boy's bedroom (or guestroom) with items I discovered at Corner Collective.
I just found your channel tonight, so happy. I was laughing when you began to drink your coffee out of your Limoges tea cup and saucer, swirling pink roses, of course!
I grew up with antiques, outside of Philadelphia. Hearing my Mother and Aunt Carol telling all the children, “You will never be too thin or too rich, or have too much Limoges” 😂😂. I can still spot any piece of Limoges in a snow storm 😆❤️😆.

I was enjoying the video (my first from your channel, and then you started the tour! Well, I sat up straight when I saw books, and bookshelves, book stacks, the corner of shame, the switchboard. This is me! The painting of Mount Washington brought memories of staying at the Omni Shoreham at Mount Washington. You are my sister from another mother. And then the ship prints! Oh my….time to sleuth your video list, after I move one more stack of books upstairs. 🥰🤓 Glad to virtually meet another book lover.

I'm not a brass person, but that brass planter with the feet--CUTE! You've got me rethinking brass. The whole vignette--the box, photo--is so lovely. I like that plant stand also. You've picked out some nice things. I love your home décor style.

I love your library, I had one wall in our living room that my husband was able to build shelves on for me, he put cabinets on the bottom because our house is older & we don’t have much storage space. I had books everywhere too, my mother is giving me a table that was her great-grandmother’s, will use that as a library table, I’m thrilled! Love the Limoges, I think it’s the prettiest china ever. Also like what you did with the shell dish, tray etc. I am looking for trays now to display some tea sets, silver/silverplate or wood. We have one good antique gallery and one good consignment shop here I like, one small thrift shop close by. Ebay is just not as much fun! Enjoy seeing all your finds.

Cats and plants are not a great match, unfortunately. I definitely need to do some hanging plants as well.

That switchboard is fabulous ! new subscriber - I enjoyed your video :) As a former GTE employee when switchboards were still the thing this was amazing to see :) I think the blue and white sailboat plate might need to come home with you :)

That tray with lace and embroidered flowers - I had one exactly like that with broken top glass (because there are two, lace is sandwiched in the middle) which I replaced and gave it to my daughter. I think that it is how they originally came. For one with mirror - it could be that glass was broken too and someone replaced it with mirror ..by the way it wasn't easy task to replace glass and keep that lace centred..

Hi from Nova Scotia....just discovered your site. I love antique stores. Love your library. Have you thought about hanging paintings on the bookshelves, seems to be a thing. I have seen some videos where people have done that and it looks great. Then you can buy more paintings 😊

That's so funny! You never know what you're going to find.
I used to work at the phone company at a switchboard very similar the the one you have. There were small towns that had switchboards like yours and we would call them and ask them to “ring” a three digit number that would be someone’s home. Didn’t date myself, did I. 😂😢

Could Not BLV my eyes..thae white vintage kitchen cabinet in that cute shop..almost identical to my Aunts 😮💨i friend took it to fix the bottom gad gotten rusted ..she does small remodeling jobs ) anyways THAT WAS OVER 3 YRS ago b4 covid .she says its in her storage way in back " ....im trying not to b really upset ....i dont have a husband or anyone to help me get it ...but i guess im going to have to go over to her house ..will do it soon 🙏🙏🙏

I bet seeing that cabinet really brought back some memories! That's one of my favorite things about thrifting - you never know when you're going to see a blast from the past!
Maybe take a pass on the plants for the boys room. But the planters could be used to corral colored markets, pencils, etc.
That would definitely work - and probably be less messy as well.

Yeah. My aunt lives near it and told me about it earlier. I was visiting her last week and was going to go there and look around but i didn't.
This is from an article about it - "(WTNH) - A fire destroyed a mixed-use building in the Terryville section of Plymouth Monday morning, displacing about a dozen people and killing several pets, according to fire officials.
Crews responded to the blaze just before 11:30 a.m. on Main Street, which is closed between Agney Avenue and Prospect Street. South Main Street remains closed between Main and East Orchard streets.
The fire appears to have started in an apartment above the Corner Collective store. Terryville Fire Chief Mark Sekorski said the building houses three residential units upstairs.
No one was injured, but Sekorski said several pets died, adding this was a hoarding situation, which made navigating the apartment difficult.
“It hurts because they’re just like family too,” Casey Camacho said of her pets killed in the blaze.
Camacho told News 8 that the family was able to rescue a dog and guinea pig, but lost turtles, a cat, a dog, fish and birds.
“There was nothing we could do to find them, never mind try and rescue them,” Chief Mark Sekorski of the Terryville Fire Department said.
Officials say the structure is now deemed uninhabitable as is the one next door."

That was not a problem for me at all. Scanning by the items with a quick look satisfied me. I guess I can see why some genuine antiques lovers would care, however. First time watching, I subscribed, I live two towns from Terryville here in CT.
