You have such a relaxing spirit, it's a joy listening to you talk about your family and home. I can relate to your posts as I grew up in a farmhouse on a dairy farm with grandparents who lived in separate housing next to us. My grandfather bought the place in 1920. My father was born on the farm. We recently celebrated 100 years of it being in the family. They were people of faith, and it was a safe haven to many more than just family. It was the best. To your silver pitcher, it brought happy tears... My grandmother had one. On days we were unloading hay she would bring out ice cold, homemade ginger ale in it. Timeless memories, like the ones you're making with your little ones. God bless! 🐣

I would guess 95% of my home decor, my clothes,kitchen wear and out door furniture is thrifted. I love the hunt, and I’m now 75 years old and have more than enough of everything I still like to go look! One day you’ll look around your home and you’ll still love it all! Because it was well made or just something that still makes your heart happy!
We live in a 1930 farm house.. before this home I lived in a 1960 home as a single mom raising five kids. I have always decorated with thrift store items.. it was funny my style has always been grandma.
. Now that I am a grandma to six beautiful babies and remarried the farm house feels like it is decorated like it should have always been... All my antiques and reused items just fit.... My husbands greatest compliments to me was one day he came home and he said it just feels like home...
Beautiful! Isn't that the goal. To build a house that feels like a home. I too have been told I have grandma style 😄
Like you, I love finding pieces that already suit your home, rather than fighting it, and re-doing your house to suit your belongings ❤ I love the quality and style of vintage items. You have a beautiful, charming home. 😊
I like the table the way it is because it has so many
stories to tell by those who grew up sitting at the table and still enjoy doing so and which will continue for years.
Don't erase the stories. Each scratch, blimish etc.adds to its
history. So many memories made around the table and many more just waiting to be made.

I agree about the layered and collected look of a home that's been accessorized by thrift and antique stores!!,I buy nothing new for the home.we are saving the landfill and planet and creating unique beautiful homes.

Love your girls room … the pattern you picked is just stunning…….. I just want to say there are crazy people in this world you said the windows are low. Do you have a special lock for them. Can you place your daughters bed away from the windows? I use to work in a sheriffs office and bad people get into beautiful places. I live on 121 acres and we have cameras. Just wanting to give you some older woman’s advice ❤👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🙋🏻♀️and ILOVE the trunk at the end of her bed BEAUTIFUL

Hi, I love vintage items, love your home. You asked about cleaning those stair corners and you may try Keeper's Friend but cover the tint on stairs because it may remove it. I honest don't like to see beds so near the window, I pray when you do the makeover it's placed another way, is for her safety. I'll be waiting for the makeover.

Have you thought of using that linen sheet as a curtain to cover the linens on your beautiful bathroom free standing shelf? It's a great way to hide your linens if they are messy.

I remember having a wood stove like yours and I remember how messy burning wood can be! Bless your heart for dedication to constantly cleaning. As a new stay at home mom the budget is tight and I have been enjoying thrifting for things we need or want. Your home is beautiful. I wouldn’t mind a future video on tips and tricks for keeping a clean home as a new mom!
As a new mom when I was young, I cleaned after I got them all in bed. Made sure from the start that they could sleep through my vacuuming🤣……woke up to a clean house and then could focus on taking good care of my family.

New here, over from Sarah's channel, she's just precious🥰 I love thrifting, antiquing, i love anything old and collect all that i can😊 I love copper, love collecting different pieces, jelly molds are fun to collect! Brass is another favorite. I think my biggest weaknesses are ornate frames, art and lamps! I love frames with or without art and also with mirrors. Love that painting, beautiful!! The chandelier is gorgeous too! I've thrifted most all my bedding, as with most everything i have honestly! Buying new bedding can be quite expensive for good quality. Of course some pieces are vintage😉 Love the chest, gorgeous❤ Old books are great for decorating.You have A really pretty home!, and i enjoyed the video!

When I got it, I covered it will a poly coat. Hopefully, that will keep it sealed. Just incase.
Maybe clean from the top down so the dust doesn't get all over what you've already cleaned.

i love tea pots and cups and saucers in the uk you get a tea for one its a cup and saucers with a small teapot sat on the top tea for one iv got prob 10 of them and 20 dif teapots and mugs my hubby saidits not collecting its hauding lololo

Did you get that dress from Walmart? I scored this dress for $2 on clearance at my local Walmart because it was dirty on the bottom. It’s a little big but I love the way it falls and flows when I move.
