I have a 2016 Yamaha R1,Ecu flashed M4 decat,with M4 can.I'm Old AF.One of my friends has a 600.He was so scared of a 1000.I turned down the power on my bike for him.He rode it and got comfortable.I slowly increased the power until he said it was a little too much.They are very adjustable to a rider.I have a total of 3 bikes.The main thing is if you do get an R1 remember just ride at your comfort level.I don't push it as hard as when I was a young guy.The reason I have the R1 is effortless power when you want or need it.my 3 bikes are R1,2015 Triumph Speed Triple,and 2009 Ducati Monster 1100.

Motonosity idk I think they’re dead currently, they peaked about 3/4 years ago.. unless you’re doing a build that you’ll be giving away or doing something crazy to a brand new bike, channels don’t see any really views or interest at all.. for example 3/4 years ago the average dude could get a go pro a older 600 and actually take off.. no one watching motorcycle content these days care about any older model bikes or even 600s for that matter especially with the prices/deals you can get a newer bike for and all the electronics on newer bikes, but even getting a newer bike doesn’t mean you’ll take off or gain a following lol
yesterday i did a test ride...coming from an MT10 and then riding this thing is still just insane. going 100kph in 3rd gear an being still on the very low end of the rev meter LOL

Idk I think it would be close to the s1000 in speed the r1 defiantly has it in torque tho u can get the front end up in the first 3 gears on the r1 but the s1000rr has trouble in second
Had 2 r1m's, both 2018. Love the bike. Flash ecu is a must. Waiting for the reverse crank to be installed in the future to upgrade. The bike is a weapon.
I’ve ridden both 2020 S1000RR and 2015 R1 and I’d take the BMW any day of the week. The R1 just sounds amazing though. I like the larger display on my GSXR and the S1000RR. The R1 is sort of small but still a nice TFT. Have you ever tried out the new GSXR by chance?

talking about the minibike you want yamaha to release, here in south east asia we have an r15 also available in india, it's a 155cc liquid cooled with variable valve actuation, it's not that small about as big as the r3 a bit shorter but it's wider than the r3, and in the east and south east asia version it has upside down forks

I own a 2019 Super Duke 1290r. I was going to purchase another bike, Ducati Streetfighter V4. Instead I opted for a MV Agusta Dragster 800rr Pirelli Edition as a partner to my Beast, 2.0, Beauty and the Beast. Manufacturers will always offer Halo bikes revealing new tech that will filter down. I can not use all the power of my SDR. The smaller bikes make so much power now with less weight. I love V2’s character and now triples uniqueness.

I used to have a 2008 Honda CBRrr but i got a 2014 R1 a few weeks ago and honestly its such an amazing machine. I was a Honda fanboy for the longest time but this R1 has definitely been a dream. Full Graves exhaust and it sounds like piped V6 OR V8 on a car instead of a bike.

This might be a dumb question but how can you so confidently go 160 on a highway like that? Is there just not any cops ever there? Where I live state troopers are all over the highways so you have to go 75 at the most, just wandering how you’re always able to hit daily 100’s without ever seeming to run into cops. Is it just me or is the r1 much slower to top speed than the bmw s1000rr on the video with a top speed run on the bmw pretty sure the s1000rr hit over 180 like it was nothing and the r1 was struggling just to get to 160’s
wait till you realise there is no tunes for it and its slower than previous model even with exhaust. im getting hammered with older models on a straight line

Yamaha do sell small bikes, such as the R125, the WR125X or the MT-125, but I do not think they’re being sold in the US, as they’re made for the A1 license
I agree. I LOVED my 2011 r1. Missed it bad. But went with a MT10. The new r1 is beautiful. I can’t wait to see what they make after a real ecu flash/tune. One race team video i watched had it making better power and more midrange.
Always love what Yamaha puts out they just make solid bikes. I currently have a 2017 fz07 and a 2019 MT-10 and absolutely love them. I can relate to your love for Yamaha for sure.
found you a couple years ago when you had the 09 R1. i had a 2010 and was inspired by a lot of your videos with that bike. upgraded to a 14 then eventually a 18. i parted ways with the 18 R1 this past weekend to get a 2020 s1k like yours. staying tuned in even more so now since i had an R1 so i would like to see what you do to it. In the modes there’s a letter that says FC I wanna say it means fuel consumed. I can be wrong but that’s how I feel how much fuel I’ve used
