Orisa is "best tank" to a lot of people because she's legitimately the only tank that FEELS like a tank in low elo. You can take a lot before you get taken down if they're focusing only you. She has a ton of things in her kit that make her feel tanky as well. Winston doesn't do well in low Elo most of the time, to be honest. I rarely ever see him being played and when he is, it seems like we immediately obliterate him.
You can't play Winston in low Elo even if you know what you're doing because your team will unanimously pull off their pressure the moment you dive on the enemy's backlines.
The thing about Winston is, unless the enemy team is dumber than your team he requires people to go in with him. Sure he has a burst combo to hopefully delete someone, but ultimately he's a low dps multi hit tank with the ability to go in and cause distractions. Its why in OWL, you had reapers either going in with him or sojourns picking off the weakened targets with low charge right clicks(or just picking everyone off in general with high chargers). If the team isnt there to back him up, he's quite literally the flimsiest tank out of all the others.

Any tank but doom feels like a actual tank imo, you just gotta know what your doing and position yourself well. And there is the main issue in low Elo, positioning of tanks. You can play Winston just fine in low Elo, you don't even need to get kills with him, you just have to take the positioning away/force people back. Obviously it's nice if you get a kill but if you jump in deep and get the sleepdart ana nade, suzu and kiriko tp out of both supports purely because you placed your bubble correctly you didn't get a kill but you got value none the less. Also with orisa in low Elo you can legit just run it down mid while your teammates are getting healed you can kill 3 people and then need healing. It makes it easier for your teammates because they will feed less lol.

He's also not a good brawler outside of specifically his matchup with Zarya because he bypasses her bubbles, and effective bubble usage of his bubble against her can be dirty. Burn utility sure but if your teammates don't apply any pressure to take advantage of that it's a moot point, and if they're not applying pressure you're probably dying.

Technically they are not wrong about Zen having 2 abilities. The secondary fire is more akin to an alternate fire than another ability hence why nit is not hackable.

That giant Genji crosshair is used because it aligns with the right click spread perfectly, so you know if they are in the 2 lines and the dot that all off them will hit. I have it for myself but I wish the customization was better.
I mean, Zen kinda only has two abilities that are used often and they're both similar. Obviously, he has ult and left/right click but most people don't consider auto attacks "abilities"
@@MasterMemo Yeah I tend to think like that too when the alt fire doesn't have a cooldown and consumes ammo but it's fair to think of it that way as weapons factor into a character's strengths too, like how Reaper and Pharah don't have an alt fire or damaging abilities. It does let Zen charge, peak and one-shot somebody.

I get that lower ranks will obviously play a lot worse, but it's the arrogance and attitude these people have that ruin the fun of the game. I couldn't care less about what people do in quickplay.

As a zen player, I actually really like the kick. I don't get too much use out of it because I usually aren't in point blank fights but it's really useful. Look I get he has the best support damage but none of that is great in super close quarters unless you're a God at aiming.
Yep, snap kick does a little extra damage and knocks them away so you can have an easier time shooting them, plus with a discord orb does a fair amount of instant damage.

The reaper at 14:35 who disconnected maybe he unlocked an achievement for the 4 ult kills and disconnected. I've had like 4 disconnects while unlocking achievements lol.
I occasionally play Junker Queen because I enjoy her, but she seems very situational. I have some games where I can steamroll with her and then other games where she just cannot mitigate enough damage or do enough at all to stay alive. I do enjoy playing her still, but she could do with some improvements.
Same. I got lucky the first couple hours I played her and got great teams who could enable me. But if you don’t have a support literally following you, you’re not really going to do much. Not to mention Kiriko literally cancels your entire ult, no skill required.
I don't mind zen kick honestly, I get the knock back is wild but low elo it like quintuples his survivability when you get dove and no one turns to help. Maybe give it a cooldown on the knockback?
As a Zen main, I have to say I do agree a little that Zen's kick is kinda wack, but nobody say anything about it because it's already too easy for dps to absolutely shred Zen and we need this little bit of close range defense.
9:28 The crosshair is set to show you the shuriken spread. If you can fit two or three of the points (left, center, or right) on a target, you know right click is the better click. Otherwise it's situational.
its such a tiktok valorant player newcomer crosshair just use a dot, crosshairs dont do anything important, the gameplay is way too fast paced, ur turning 180° constantly and jumping around you have to feel the right click on genji, not fucking line it up like ur mollying the spike

I started playing OW2 when it came out after not playing Overwatch since like a month after it came out and figured out Lucio's wall-jump boost thing LITERALLY MY FIRST MATCH. I don't really see how a controller changes wallriding that much? Obviously general mobility is more confined and I completely get that, but there's a difference between limited usage and literally no usage.
Zen only has 2 abilities, his weapon being the orb of destruction just has 2 ways that they are fired and they are seperate from the discord and harmony orb as abilities

I climbed from gold 4(placements) to diamond 5 in less than 40 matches one tricking zarya, dropping over 20k damage every game and basically carrying, I think anyone with decent mechanics can abuse her up to at least diamond elo and even past that if u have a good undrstanding of the game(not that I do)
A bit concerned with the Bleed vs Damage over time (DOT) (They can be interchanged. Bleed is a spell that deals damage over time. Using DOT is easier to understand for non gammers) part, but great video. I don't know how to use TikTok, so thank you for unveiling those gems :D

One thing I personally appreciate about Orisa over most other tanks is that she tends to give her supports an unholy amount of ult charge. That's for two reasons: 1: She has the mobility of a wet slice of bread which means she doesn't end up in places where her supports can't reach her (or for that matter: Suddenly dive, leaving her backline open without a word of warning beforehand). 2: She takes ages to die but doesn't fully mitigate damage. The thing is, you don't get a lot of ult charge off a good Zarya or Sigma because their playstyle revolves around entirely avoiding damage. Dva can be difficult to work with because in spite of her sizeable healthpool, she's a big old target with a massive crit spot and can be burst down very quickly if she mismanages her defense matrix. Orisa on the other hand... well, she takes a bit of damage. Always just a bit. You don't usually see her melt and she physically cannot just mitigate all incoming damage, and that means that you can keep her topped off and just get ult charge in spades. Of course, I play on low elo and she probably dies a lot faster on the higher ranks, but I just enjoy having Nano boost ready 2 minutes into a match because the Orisa is looking submissive and healable.
The reason most Orisas stay up as long as they do is people don't kill her supports first and they just fo what you said. Once her supports are gone you can melt her Health and just out live her Cooldowns.
Even for someone who is terminally plat like myself, TikTokerwatch is a hilarious alternate universe. EDIT: Also, yes, Winston feels great right now when I take tank. I just tell my team I'll try to bypass the enemy tank and focus on wreaking havoc on the squishies, especially sups, and it works most of the time. Actually giving me hope of finally touching Diamond.

I mean, love ya, but "weapon" is not an ability. Abilities are a defined thing in OW and weapons don't count. E.g., there are dailies to do 'X damage with abilities' - shooting people doesn't count for that. Is Rein hammer an "ability"? Is Soildier's rifle an "ability"? If yes, then I guess zen orbs are, but this is literally the first time I've ever heard people argue that the hero's base weapon is an "ability."

But it is a little absurd how you can chain them down and don't think it would be that harmful to him if it had a short cooldown. Most supports have a "get off me!" kind of move. Moria, Mercy and Bap can zoom away. Lucio can boop. Brigitte can boop and zoom and Kiriko can just teleport away. Zen gets the S key.

I don't mind zen kick honestly, I get the knock back is wild but low elo it like quintuples his survivability when you get dove and no one turns to help. Maybe give it a cooldown on the knockback?
As a Zen main, I have to say I do agree a little that Zen's kick is kinda wack, but nobody say anything about it because it's already too easy for dps to absolutely shred Zen and we need this little bit of close range defense.
Sigma is always been my favourite tank, ever since his drop. You have to play aggressive, but keep distance. If the close in, orbs then one punch ‘em.

I climbed from gold 4(placements) to diamond 5 in less than 40 matches one tricking zarya, dropping over 20k damage every game and basically carrying, I think anyone with decent mechanics can abuse her up to at least diamond elo and even past that if u have a good undrstanding of the game(not that I do)

One thing I personally appreciate about Orisa over most other tanks is that she tends to give her supports an unholy amount of ult charge. That's for two reasons:
1: She has the mobility of a wet slice of bread which means she doesn't end up in places where her supports can't reach her (or for that matter: Suddenly dive, leaving her backline open without a word of warning beforehand).
2: She takes ages to die but doesn't fully mitigate damage. The thing is, you don't get a lot of ult charge off a good Zarya or Sigma because their playstyle revolves around entirely avoiding damage. Dva can be difficult to work with because in spite of her sizeable healthpool, she's a big old target with a massive crit spot and can be burst down very quickly if she mismanages her defense matrix. Orisa on the other hand... well, she takes a bit of damage. Always just a bit. You don't usually see her melt and she physically cannot just mitigate all incoming damage, and that means that you can keep her topped off and just get ult charge in spades.
Of course, I play on low elo and she probably dies a lot faster on the higher ranks, but I just enjoy having Nano boost ready 2 minutes into a match because the Orisa is looking submissive and healable.

She doesn't die any faster. Everyone just walks past her and kills the supports instead because she can do nothing to protect them
Do damage and you will have your ult in no time beside the occasional healing
The reason most Orisas stay up as long as they do is people don't kill her supports first and they just fo what you said. Once her supports are gone you can melt her Health and just out live her Cooldowns.

I mean, love ya, but "weapon" is not an ability. Abilities are a defined thing in OW and weapons don't count. E.g., there are dailies to do 'X damage with abilities' - shooting people doesn't count for that.
Is Rein hammer an "ability"? Is Soildier's rifle an "ability"? If yes, then I guess zen orbs are, but this is literally the first time I've ever heard people argue that the hero's base weapon is an "ability."

Just because his power budget is in his normal attacks doesn't suddenly mean they're abilities. Even blizzard doesn't define ults or normal attacks as abilities. I would go further and argue he has one ability since he cannot heal and discord at the same time, otherwise you might as well count moiras two orbs as two different abilities.

The genji crosshair actually lines up the two outside lines with the shurikens on alt fire, I actually use a similar one myself
I mean I do actually really like Zen's kick. Obvious bias as I play a lot of him. But it is a little absurd how you can chain them down and don't think it would be that harmful to him if it had a short cooldown. Most supports have a "get off me!" kind of move. Moria, Mercy and Bap can zoom away. Lucio can boop. Brigitte can boop and zoom and Kiriko can just teleport away. Zen gets the S key.
